Rovněž existuje řešení (CZ 307239) se dvěma řetězovými koly s vertikální osou rotace vzhledem k ose těla strojku, kolem nichž obíhá řetěz s břity. Níže popsané řešení má oproti strojkům s vibrující lištou výhodu v absenci vibrací a možnou vyšší rychlostí pohybu břitů, protože nedochází k vratnému pohybu lišty s břity.
