Abstract
The invention relates to a method for setting favorable air-fuel ratios in industrial furnaces with regenerators for combustion air preheating. The method allows combustion optimization even at high exhaust gas temperatures and presence of dust, alkali fumes and SO 3 in the exhaust gas, avoiding the susceptibility to failure and the process used. The object is achieved by periodically, gradually reducing the air-fuel ratio to finding a characteristic ratio, which is characterized by a significant change in the heating rate of the upper part of the recirculated exhaust gas regenerator chamber. From this characteristic air-fuel ratio, a determined difference of the ratio is added up to the achievement of near-stoichiometric combustion, separated for each burner with associated regenerator. The method is preferably applicable to oelbeheizten furnaces, in particular to Glasschmelzoefen.
Description
Verfahren zum Einstellen günstiger Luft-Brermstoff-Verhältnisse an Industrieöfen mit RegeneratorenMethod for setting favorable air-fuel ratios on industrial furnaces with regenerators
The invention relates to a method for setting favorable air-fuel ratios of industrial furnaces with regenerators for combustion air preheating, in particular glass melting tanks, wherein a characteristic air-fuel ratio is determined by changing these ratios and by adding a calculated, constant difference amount of this ratio, a favorable air Fuel ratio is adjusted *
For the control of combustion processes on industrial furnaces it is generally known that a maximum efficiency is only achieved if the air-fuel ratio is kept at an optimum value in the sense of a near-stoichiometric combustion. Both in lack of air and in excess of air losses occur, caused on the one hand by incomplete combustion, on the other hand by heating the excess air to combustion temperature.
A setting of the air-fuel ratio to the theoretically optimal value is not possible, because the available combustion chamber in the combustion chamber volume with the measured amount of combustion air mismatch »This is due to the fact that in the transport of the air between Luftmengenmeßstelle and furnace space on Umsteuerungssystem for the Regenerative firing and in the regenerative chambers unknown leakage and false air supply occur.
From the DDR patent WP 79 096 is known that a circuit for controlling the combustion air flow is proposed to set an optimal combustion, which evaluates the Og content of sufficiently representative flue gas sampling points. In this case, the paramagnetic measurement method or the more modern gaspotentiometric analysis method with oxygen ion-conducting solid electrolyte cells are used to measure the C ^ content.
Each another proposal (DDR-WP 109 258) is set to achieve maximum efficiency necessary air-fuel ratio, characterized in that the combustion air flow is reduced in a seek so long until the CO gas content in the flue gas to a characteristic proportion of about 0.05 % has risen. From this * found characteristic air-fuel ratio is obtained by adding a fixed difference amount of the air-fuel ratio, which represents the loss of unburned, to the optimum air-fuel ratio.
The required flue gas removal is at high flue gas temperatures and at high dust and SO 2 content of the flue gas by adding the flue gas sampling probes very problematic and maintenance-consuming, so that they are among such
Conditions was hardly feasible so far. The use of oxygen ion conductive Pestelektrolytzellen for measuring the O 2 content directly in the furnace chamber could indeed avoid the problematic flue gas removal, but at high temperatures (about 1200 ° G) and in Alkalidampfhaltigem flue gas (ζ.B * glass melting tanks) currently not feasible ,
Air-fuel ratio has a maximum to use. For the extreme value search of the flame temperature, the amount of combustion air is subject to vibrations of less amplitude. By. Evaluation of the resulting fluctuations in the flame temperature can be closed to the position of the operating point of the amount of combustion air relative to the optimum and intervened appropriately corrected. A disadvantage of this method is the difficulty of determining a suitable measuring location for non-contact temperature measurement in the flame. This uncertainty in the choice of the measuring location occurs especially in large or »several interlocking flames and large combustion chambers (high gas turbulence) on · In addition, the measurement result is distorted when high-energy background radiation occurs.
It is the object of the invention to set favorable air-fuel ratios on industrial furnaces with regenerators for combustion air preheating with a method that is only slightly susceptible to faults and has low errors, in order to reduce the maintenance effort and to improve the furnace efficiency.
,Darlegung des Wesens der Erfindung, Explanation of the essence of the invention
The invention is based on the object even at-, high exhaust gas temperatures and the presence of dust, alkali vapors and SOo in the exhaust gas, by evaluating the temporal temperature profile in the system furnace regenerator to make the setting of favorable air-fuel ratios.
The object is achieved by periodically conducting at intervals a search operation with a stepwise reduction of the air-fuel ratio K χ until finding a characteristic ratio % \ yjjjj by a significant change in the heating rate of the upper part of the flowed through by the exhaust Hegeneratorkammer. is marked. From this characteristic air-fuel ratio K ^ g from a possibly dependent on the load condition of the furnace difference ΔΚχ of the air-fuel ratio is added in a conventional manner, and thus set favorable air-fuel ratio K ν Q is up keep to the next search and correction process.
The determination of the characteristic air-fuel ratio and the addition of the difference amount to the favorable ratio is performed separately for each existing burner pair and for each fire side.
Der Lösung liegt dabei der erfinderische Gedanke zugrunde, daß bei Verringerung des Luft-Brennstoff-Verhältnisses K^ die Änderungsgeschwindigkeit der Temperatur des oberen Teiles der vom Abgas durchströmten Regeneratorkammer (Kammerkopftemperatur T~) Α^χ/ At bis zum Erreichen eines charakteristischen Luft-Brennstoff-VerhältnissesThe solution is based on the inventive idea that when reducing the air-fuel ratio K ^ the rate of change of the temperature of the upper part of the exhaust gas flowed through the regenerator chamber (chamber head temperature T ~) Α ^ χ / At until a characteristic air-fuel -Verhältnisses
'remains approximately constant and only increases significantly with further reduction of this ratio. '
It has further been found that the distance 4k K \ between the characteristic air-fuel ratio K ^ Tr and the favorable air-Brennst off ratio K ^ 0 * at which the furnace temperature T is maximum, for each burner with the exhaust side assigned regenerator depending on the load condition of the furnace is fixed and is almost constant in time, if a functioning furnace pressure control is present.
The advantage of the solution according to the invention is that an adjustment of favorable air-fuel ratios even at high exhaust gas temperatures and components in the exhaust gas, which complicate an exhaust gas extraction and exhaust gas analysis, is made possible. This can be done on preferably oil-fired industrial furnaces, where for these reasons so far waived an automatic correction of the air-fuel ratio, for example, to oil-fired glass melting furnace, periodically setting the combustion to a favorable ratio with the known advantages, such as fuel economy and reduction of wear of the new solid material, to be made.
Purely the compensation of slowly increasing leakage losses or "false air supply as well as other disturbances of long-term character, such as, for example, changing the pressure losses at the reversing system, the method according to the invention is well suited. It also requires no additional maintenance.
The invention is explained using the example of an oil-heated U-Flaimnen glass melting tank «

The glass melting tank 1 with a U-shaped flame 2, the fuel through the pipe and the combustion air via the pipe 5 are supplied. The reversing system 6 * ensures that entered on one side of the tank fuel and combustion air and on the other side of the tub via one of Regeneratorkamraem 3 j 3 1, the exhaust gas can be opened to the chimney from guides 7 »Ια the two possible positions of the Umsteuersystems 6 is thus one of the two regenerator 3 j 3 * for preheating the combustion air, the other for storing a portion of the heat energy contained in the exhaust gas.
The amount of combustion air is controlled by means of a control loop consisting of Heßblende 8, transducer 9, Regler.10 and actuator 11. The Pührungsgröße 12 of the controller 10 is determined by a ratio controller 13, the die.Führungsgröße 12 of the amount of fuel by means of measuring orifice 8 * and transmitter 9 ! is measured, is tracked on the basis of the ratio 'regulator 13 predetermined or' set ratio guide size 14. The specification or setting of the ratio guide variable 14 for the ratio between combustion air and fuel quantity is the engaging parts of the method according to the invention in the process in the example shown.
The chamber head temperatures of the two Regeneratorkammem 3 »3 f are at the measuring points 15; 15 'measured. By means of a synchronized with the Umsteuersystein ümschalteinrichtung 16 each -the chamber head temperature of the exhaust gas flowed through the regenerator chamber 3 »3 f selected and the comparison block 1X, fed. The comparison block 17 includes the determination of the lateral increase of the Kamnierkopf temperatures In the periods in which is driven with constant air-fuel ratio sen, the ascertained slope values are stored as comparison increases. In the periodically occurring search and correction periods, the time increments of the chamber head temperatures of the measuring points 15; 15 f compared with the corresponding comparison increases. As long as the characteristic air-fuel ratio K ^ E has not yet been reached, the output block 18 causes a further gradual reduction of the air-fuel ratio reference variable 14.
After finding the characteristic air-fuel ratio K ^ ~ for each fire side, the favorable air-fuel ratio K ^ 0 in addition block 19 for each fire side is concerned by addition of the fire. AK / \ determines and with output block 'i8 the output of the corresponding ratio Pührungsgrößen 14 made separately for the two Feuerseiten. , In the determination of the characteristic air-fuel ratio K ^ g, because of the curved course over time of the chamber head temperatures, the period of the changed K; \ adjustment and the rise determination in the fire cycle must be timed in the same way as the period of the comparison increase determination.
If the measured increase coincides with the corresponding comparison increase, the next search step is proceeded to «If the measured increase is greater than the corresponding comparison increase, then the characteristic air-fuel ratio K ^ ~ is found with the search response sizing«
The difference ΔK ^ between the air-fuel ratios K ^ τζ- and K ^ Q can be determined by calibration tests or by long-term observation of the specific heat consumption of the glass melting tank. The calibration involves either the determination of the air-fuel ratio, which leads to the oven temperature aturmazimum in the glass melting tank (K ^ Q ), associated with the immediately afterwards' determination of Ka, Tr or the setting of optimal combustion by means of short-term exhaust gas analysis, again associated with the immediate determination of-K ^ £
The long-term observation of the specific heat consumption when using the method according to the invention with different α Κχ and otherwise the same conditions, also gives the optimum δ K ^ with minimal specific heat consumption .
The periodic determination of the characteristic air-fuel ratio Ka K and. the setting of the favorable air-fuel ratio K ^ Q can be performed manually but also by means of process control technology or with microcomputers.
