The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for purifying flue gases, wherein in this method, an absorbent is introduced into the combustion chamber of a steam generator and the agent reacts with the sulfur contained in the flue gases. The flue gases were further discharged from the combustion chamber of the steam generator with an exhaust pipe to a pre-separator, which separates all non-reacted with the sulfur absorbent from the flue gas and transported the unreacted product in a separate processing plant in which the product is mechanically activated.
Applicant's Finnish Patent No. 76,931, previously published, discloses a process known to hydrate and solidify the solid deposited by the pre-separator into a sulfur responsive form and then pass it into a reactor downstream of the flue gas pre-separator Flue gases is arranged.
The object of the invention is to improve the above process and in particular in a hydration process. The aim is to provide an ancestor and an apparatus which will make it possible to intensify the removal of sulfur from the flue gases to the combustion chamber of a steam generator to a considerable degree.
The object of the invention was achieved with a solution in which the CaO and CaSO 4 separated from the flue gases are machined mechanically by means of an activation device by crushing, which breaks the CaSO 4 crust surrounding the CaO particles and exposes the CaO for the hydration reaction , Advantageously, a Nachabscheider is used after the Aktivierungsvt richiung in which the remaining CaO is separated from the other substances and the CaO dust is passed from the Nachabscheider in a reactor in which the hydration takes place properly. The hydrated CaO further reacts with the flue gas introduced into the reactor and effectively binds the SO 2 contained in the flue gas.
The following describes the entire cleaning process step by step.
In the first stage finely ground limestone is blown into the combustion chamber of a steam generator with a temperature of 900 0 C to 1200 0 C, whereby the calcium carbonate decomposes according to the following reaction equation (1):
CaCO3-> CaO + CO2 (1)CaCO 3 -> CaO + CO 2 (1)
Ein Teil des hierdurch gebildeten Kalziumoxids reagiert weiter mit Schwefeldioxid (2):Part of the calcium oxide formed thereby reacts further with sulfur dioxide (2):
CaO + SO2 + 'Λ O2 -> CaSO4 (2)CaO + SO 2 + 'ΛO 2 -> CaSO 4 (2)
This forms calcium sulfate. The sulfur content that reacts in the combustion space can amount to 10 to 70% of the total sulfur amount. Using an amount of reagent which is economically useful in relation to the sulfur contained in the coal, the separation of sulfur occurring in the combustion space thereby amounts to about 30 to 50% of the total amount of SO 2 . In order to reach a level below the imposed emission limits, it is usually necessary to continue the binding of sulfur in a downstream of the steam generator.
Als Vorabscheider kann man alle Trocken-In the zweiton process stage, the unreacted CaO and the reaction products with dom flue gas discharged from the steam generator and end in a pre-separator. As pre-separator you can use all dry
Staubabscheideranlagen verwenden. (rUse dust collectors. (r
If the particle size of the limestone blown in the combustion chamber has been selected in proportion to the fly ash, only the fraction containing mainly CaO leads to further processing. However, CaO particles coated with CaSO 4 also continue to be processed further. In such a case, the CaO according to the invention is activated in an activating device, preferably in a press, by breaking the CaSO 4 crust surrounding the CaO and breaking the CaO for you. Hydration reaction is exposed.
In further processing, the separated and comminuted fraction is hydrated in a reactor according to the following equation.
CaO +H2O-> Ca(OH)2 (3)CaO + H 2 O-> Ca (OH) 2 (3)
The hydration is unavoidable because the SO 2 still remaining in the flue gases can react and be removed from the gas according to the reaction equation (2).
After the reactor, the fly ash and reaction products are separated from the flue gas. The separator may be, for example, an electrostatic filter or a bag filter. If a bag filter is used, the reaction of sulfur binding also takes place in the dust layer formed on the surface of the tube.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren wird in erster Linie dadurch charakterisiert, daß vom Vorabscheider abgeschiedene Feststoffe in einer Aktivierungsvorrichtung nach dem Vorabscheider transportiert werden, in der die abgeschiedenen Materialpartikel zuThe process according to the invention is primarily characterized by the fact that solids separated from the pre-separator are transported in an activation device downstream of the pre-separator in which the separated material particles are to

The equipment according to the invention is primarily characterized by the fact that after the pre-separator the equipment consists of an activation device in which the material particles from the pre-separator become smaller particles, breaking the CaSO 4 edge located around the CaO and exposing the CaO for a hydration reaction becomes. The equipment consists of a conduit through which the CaO-containing particles are transported for hydration in a reactor which is arranged downstream of the flue gas pre-separator in the flow direction of the flue gases and wherein the equipment contains nozzles through which the CaO particles are introduced into the reactor Werdon, where, however, where the Wassorsprühdüsen are arranged substantially in the vicinity of said nozzles.
The invention will now be illustrated in conjunction with some preferred embodiments of the invention in the drawings, but the invention is by no means limited solely to the embodiments.
Abbildung 1A zeigt eine als Aktivierungsvorrichtung verwendete Presse.Figure 1A shows a press used as the activation device.
Figure 1 B is a schematic of the exposure before CaO in the pressing process.
Figures 2 and 3 are schematic representations of the method and equipment.
In the process of purifying flue gases shown in Figs. 1A to 3, limestone powder is introduced into the combustion space so that it is first calcined to calcium oxide (CaO) and then reacts with the sulfur compounds present in the flue gases to form calcium sulfate (LbSO 4 ) ,
CaO + SO2 + 0,5O2 -> CaSO4 CaO + SO 2 + 0.5O 2 -> CaSO 4
The proportion of CaO involved in the reaction is 5Hs 30%, usually 15%. The reason for the low calcium consumption is the CaSO 4 crust formed during the reaction, which delays the> theaction process after a certain layer thickness, so that there is no time for the reaction to proceed during the available 0.5 to 5 s, usually less than 2 s is available. An excessively high temperature, usually <1150 °, results in a sintering on the surfaces of Kall "-" ol npartikel, which deteriorates the reactivity.
The reaction products and the fly ash are passed together with the flue gases into the swarf removal aggregate after the steam generator wherein the unreacted CaO is first pre-deposited.
By means of the inventive method, the calcium-containing particles are reactivated by the CaSO 4 therefore located breaks -Kruste. This takes place after the pre-deposition of the CaO in an activation device, advantageously in a press. The finely divided product in the activation device is directed into the drip zone in the flue gas humidification reactor, wöbe! CaO is hydrated to Ca (OH) 2 , which effectively binds SO 2 and forms calcium sulfite CaSO 3 . The introduction of finely divided product takes place, for example, by means of carrier air, so that pulverulent product is introduced through nozzles into the drip zone of the flue-gas humidifying reactor. Thus, CaO is hydrated to Ca (OH) 2 substantially in the flue gas humidification reactor.
Neben der Durchführung des Hydrationsprozesses werden die Rauchgase mittels in die Tropfzona des Rauchg. s-Befeuchtungsreaktors gesprühtes Wasser gekühlt:Ef> only particles with the highest content of calcium oxide CaO are passed to the hydration process, whereas, for example, the fly ash is deposited in a post-separator after the activation device. Thus, the following reactions take place in the drip zone in the flue gas humidification reactor: CaO is hydrated to Ca (OH 2 ) and Ca (OH 2 ) reacts with the sulfur dioxide contained in the flue gas to form calcium sulfite CaSO 3 . In addition to the implementation of the hydration process, the flue gases by means of the drip zone of Rauchg. s humidification reactor sprayed water cooled:
Figure 1A illustrates an activation device 11 according to the invention, preferably a press. From the Vorabschßider the deposited, CaO-containing stream J is passed into the press 11, where it is brought between the press plates E t and E 2 , wherein the rotating disks E 1 , E 2 material in the space between the disks Ei, E 2 and the material is subjected to intensive compression.
Figure 1 B shows a CaO particle / surrounded by a CaSO 4 -cryst, the crust significantly retarding the hydration of CaO in the hydration reaction. According to the invention, this CaSO 4 crust is crushed by pressing the CaO-CaSO 4 particles between the mechanical press disks E ) ( E 2. At the CaO-CaSO 4 boundary surface, fracture lines F 1 , F 2 , F 3 , and CaSO 4 are formed is removed along the interface from the surface of the CaO component, releasing CaO for the hydration reaction.
Das Rauchgasgebläse 19 saugt das Rauchgas aus der Staubabscheideranlage 18 undIn Figure 2, the silo for the absorbent, preferably limestone, is designated by reference numeral 1. In the lower part of the silo is a metering device 2 for the absorbent. The delivery fan 3 blows the carrier air, into which the absorbent is mixed, into the combustion chamber of the steam generator 4. The combustion air and the coal are introduced with the ducts 5. In the preferred embodiment, the steam generator is a dust-burning steam generator. However, such an embodiment is also possible in which the steam generator is a so-called grate-firing steam generator or a combined grate-firing / dust-burning steam generator. In this case, the grate is designated by the reference numeral 6 (as in the figure). The slag from the steam generator is removed via channel 7. The flue gases are discharged from the steam generator via the Rduchgasleitung in the Rauchgasvorabscheider 8. In the preferred embodiment, the preseparator 8 consists of a cyclone. The separated particles are deposited in an intermediate silo 9. The closing device 10, which is advantageously a so-called closing bottom conveyor, distributes the fraction, which has passed from the preliminary separator 8 into the intermediate silo 9, into the activating device 11, preferably a press. From the reactor 16, the flue gas is passed via line 21 into the dust separator 18. The dust collector may consist of an electrostatic filter or a hose filter device for separating the dust. The flue gas fan 19 sucks the flue gas from the dust collector 18 and
CaSO., über die Abgasleitung 28 entfernt,blows it into the chimney 20 and from there into the atmosphere. In the activator 11, the sintered and precoated CaO and CaSO 4 particles are mechanically processed, whereby the CaO particles are reactivated by breaking the CaSO 4 crust surrounding the CaO so that the CaO is exposed for hydration. From the activation device 11, the activated particles are transported via line 12 into the Nachabscheidor 13 and via line 14 into the reactor 16. In line 14 medium air of a blower 1S carrier air or carrier gas is entered. The material can also be passed from the activation device 11 directly into the reactor 16. In this case, no post-separator 13 is used. The dust-like, CaO-containing activated material is then sprayed through the nozzle 14 a into the drip zone A in the reactor 16. The water is also atomized in the drip zone A in the reactor 16, wherein the water brings about the hydration of CaO in Ca (OH) 2 . A second purpose of supplying water is to cool the atmosphere. The hydrated CaO reacts effectively in the form of Ca (OH) 2 with SO 2 contained in the flue gases, forming KaIZiUmSuIfItCaSO 3 . Dap water is passed via line 17 and atomized as drops through the end nozzles 17a of the line 17 in the reactor 16. The end nozzles 17 a are arranged to the right of the dust nozzles 14 a, so that a direct contact and a reaction between the constituents involved in the hydration reaction is ensured. The separated from the flue gas reactive CaO dust is effectively directed into the area of the water mist A in the reactor 16, so that a good water / Feststcffkontakt is ensured. The flue gas is allowed to flow into the reactor 16 so that it and the hydrated Ca (OH) 2 particles meet as effectively as possible. This ensures a good contact of the Ca (OH) 2 particles with the SO 2 contained in the flue gas. The directions of introduction of the CaO-containing dust and the water from their nozzles 14 a, 17 b are preferably at right angles to the flow direction (S) of the flue gas.
The supply of water and dust can be done in a centered manner in the center of the reactor 16, so that the reactor walls remain dry.
Water is supplied through the nozzle 17a so that the heat present in the flue gases has time to evaporate all of the water and so that no moist solid suspension or waste water forms in one step.
Figure 3 is a detailed illustration of the method and equipment of the invention. If the CaO-CaSO 4 mixture mechanically with the activation device 11, z. B. a press, grinder, grinding device, crushing machine is processed, the CuO surrounding CaSO 4 -Kruste is broken, so that the CaO is exposed for the hydration. In the manner shown in Figure 2, the machined CaO and CaSO 4 are further conveyed via line 12 into the post-separator 13. In the Nachabscheider 13 a sorting takes place, by which it is possible to deposit fly ash or CaSO 4 from the active CaO dust stream, and thereby it is possible to reduce the dust load of the reactor 16 and the dust load of the Staubascheidervorrichtung after the reactor 16. As shown in Figure 3, the processed, activated, dust-like CaO material is passed through the nozzle 14a into the conduit 14 into the flue gas stream S into the reactor 16. The introduction takes place in the drip zone A in the reactor at the same time with the introduced into the drip zone A from the nozzles 17 a water mist D. The water mist D is introduced from the nozzles 17 a in the conduit 17. The nozzles 17a are arranged in the drip zone A of the reactor 16 in the vicinity of the dust nozzles. The drip zone A means the area inside the reactor 16 in which the / pre-atomized water H 2 O has not yet been vaporized by the action of heat energy transferred from the flue gas.
