Description

Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Blutentnahmenadel für Frühgeborene und reife Säuglinge.
Das Anwendungsgebiet der Erfindung liegt bei der Blutentnahme bei reifen Neugeborenen, Frühgeborenen oder Patienten mit schlechten Venenverhältnissen.
Bei Frühgeborenen und reifen Säuglingen ist es üblich, venöse Blutentnahmen mit handelsübli­ chen Injektionsnadeln nach manueller Entfernung der Plastikkupplung (Verbindungsmöglichkeit zu einer Spritze) durchzuführen. Das ist notwendig wegen schwieriger Blutabnahmeverhältnisse bei Neonaten (kleine Blutgefäße, geringe Blutmenge). Die bei oben beschriebenem Vorgehen entstehenden Schwierigkeiten bei der Blutentnahme treten bei Verwendung der erfindungsge­ mäßen "Blutentnahmenadel für Frühgeborene und reife Säuglinge" nicht auf.
Eine Blutentnahmenadel mit einem seitlichen Blutauslass ist aus der US 1 458 958 bekannt. Der Blutauslass ist dort jedoch nicht an einer Hohlnadel angelegt, sondern an einem separaten Rohrteil, wodurch das Totvolumen der Blutentnahmenadel stark vergrößert ist.
Bei Frühgeborenen und reifen Säuglingen ist es üblich venöse Blutentnahmen mit handelsübli­ chen Injektionsnadeln nach Entfernung der Plastikkupplung (Verbindungsmöglichkeit zu einer Spritze) durchzuführen. Das ist notwendig wegen schwieriger Blutabnahmeverhältnisse bei Ne­ onaten (kleine Blutgefäße/geringe Blutmenge).
Der im Patentanspruch angegebenen Erfindung liegt das Problem zugrunde, eine Blutentnah­ menadel für Frühgeborene und reife Säuglinge zu schaffen, mit welcher der Arbeitsschritt des Entfernens der Plastikkupplung einer herkömmlichen Injektionsnadel entfallen kann und die o­ ben geschilderten Nachteile nicht auftreten können.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die im Patentanspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.
Bei einer Blutentnahme mit der erfindungsgemäßen Blutentnahmenadel können folgende bisher bestehende Nachteile vermieden werden:
  • - Gefahr der akzidentellen Kontaminierung der Nadel während der Entfernung der Plastik­ kupplung und die damit verbundene Infektionsgefahr für die Patienten.
  • - Schlechte manuelle Kontrolle der Nadel bei dem oben beschriebenen Vorgehen (Blut­ entnahme mit Injektionsnadel nach Entfernung der Plastikkupplung) besteht keine Mög­ lichkeit die Nadel geeignet anzufassen.
  • - Akzidentelle Nadeldislokation und Verminderung von Blutverlusten, da bei den bisher verwendeten Nadeln nur im Bereich des Blutauslasses (Ende der Nadel nach Abbrechen der Plastikkupplung) die Möglichkeit zum Anfassen besteht, sind die ersten Bluttropfen erst nach Loslassen der Nadel sichtbar. Dadurch besteht die Gefahr der Nadeldislokation da die intravenöse Lage leicht zu spät festgestellt wird.
  • - Gefahr eines vermeidbaren Blutverlustes, da die ersten Bluttropfen erst nach Loslassen der Nadel zu sehen sind (vgl. oben).
  • - Das Verbiegen der Nadel, das zu einer Verlegung des Lumens und zur frustranen Ve­ nen-/Arterienpunktion führen kann.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt.

Claims (1)

  1. Blutentnahmenadel für Frühgeborene und reife Säuglinge, mit den folgenden Merkmalen:
    • - Die Blutentnahmenadel ist als Hohlnadel ausgeführt.
    • - Seitlich zur Längsachse der Hohlnadel ist ein Blutauslass einstückig mit der Hohlnadel ausgeführt.
    • - Das distale Ende der Hohlnadel weist einen Führungsgriff auf.
    • - Der Führungsgriff ist so angeordnet, dass der Blutauslass nicht verdeckt wird.
    • - Die Hohlnadel weist nur ein geringes Totvolumen auf.
