Abstract
Description
CCFL - Kaltkathoden-Fluoreszenzlampe (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp).
CCFL inverter - Ein Schaltkreis, der die erforderliche Spannung und den erforderlichen Strom bereitstellt, um die Lichtausgabe einer CCFL auf geeignete Weise zu steuern.
IRDA - Infrarot-Datenverbindung (Infrared Data Association).
LCD - Fllüssigkristallanzeige (Liquid Crystal Display).
EDR - Angereicherter diffuser Reflektor (Enhanced Diffuse Reflector). LED - Leuchtdiode (Light Emitting Diode).
Lumen - Eine Einheit der Lichtleistung, die für das menschliche Auge nutzbar ist und die als die spektrale Lichtleistung für monochromatisches Licht bei der maximalen sichtbaren Ansprechwellenlänge von 555 nm definiert ist.
NIT - Eine Einheit der Bildhelligkeit für reflektiertes, durchgelassenes oder von einer streu enden Oberfläche ausgesendetes Licht.
PWM - Pulsbreitenmodulation (Pulse Width Modulation).
Claims (40)
eine Vielzahl von Leuchtdioden, die jeweils einen Anoden- und Kathodenanschluss aufweisen; und
einen Stromquellenschaltkreis, der eine Vielzahl von Stromquellentransistoren umfasst;
wobei die Leuchtdioden parallel geschaltet sind, so dass der Anodenanschluss jeder Leuchtdiode mit einem unterschiedlichen Stromquellentransistor leitend verbunden ist und der Kathodenanschluss jeder Leuchtdiode mit einem Masseknoten elektrisch gekoppelt ist.
eine Flüssigkristallanzeige;
eine Hintergrundbeleuchtungs-Leuchtdiodenanordnung, die eine Vielzahl von Leuchtdioden in einer parallelen Anordnung umfasst,
wobei ein Kathodenanschluss jeder Leuchtdiode mit einem gemeinsamen Masseknoten verbunden ist,
wobei die Hintergrund beleuchtungs-Leuchtdiodenanordnung die Flüssigkristallanzeige rückseitig beleuchtet; und
ein Stromquellenschaltkreis, der im Wesentlichen gleiche elektrische Ströme, die jeder Leuchtdiode zugeführt werden, aufrecht erhält.
einen Temperatur-Herabsetzungsschaltkreis, der mit dem Stromquellenschaltkreis leitend verbunden ist;
wobei der Temperatur-Herabsetzungsschaltkreis die Intensität der Leuchtdiodenanordnung als eine Funktion einer Temperatur verringert, die an dem gemeinsamen Masseknoten gemessen wird, nachdem ein Schwellenwert erreicht worden ist.
einen Lichtleiter in der Nähe der Flüssigkristallanzeige und der Leuchtdiodenanord nung; und
ein Gehäuse, das wenigstens einen Abschnitt der Flüssigkristallanzeige, des Licht leiters und der Leuchtdiodenanordnung umgibt.
eine Leuchtdioden-Steuereinrichtung, die ein Pulsbreiten-moduliertes Signal bereit stellt, das die Intensität der Leuchtdiodenanordnung steuert.
eine Leuchtdioden-Steuereinrichtung, die ein analoges Gleichspannungssignal bereitstellt, das die Intensität der Leuchtdiodenanordnung steuert.
Überwachen einer Temperatur einer Leuchtdiodenanordnung an einem Knoten, der mit einer Leuchtdiode verbunden ist; und
Bereitstellen eines temperaturgeregelten Signals an die Leuchtdiode.
Überwachen einer Vergleichsstromquelle; und
Abgleichen des temperaturgeregelten Signals als eine Funktion eines Stroms aus der Vergleichsstromquelle.
eine Flüssigkristallanzeige;
einen Lichtleiter, der hinter der Flüssigkristallanzeige angeordnet ist;
eine Leuchtdiodenanordnung;
einen gerichteten Reflektor, der Licht aus der Leuchtdiode in den Lichtleiter reflek tiert;
eine Leiterplatte mit einer ersten und zweiten Seite, wobei die Leuchtdiodenanord nung mit der ersten Seite verbunden ist und ein Steuerschaltkreis der Leuchtdiodenanord nung mit der anderen Seite verbunden ist;
einen Rahmen, in dem die Flüssigkristallanzeige, der Lichtleiter, die Leuchtdiodenan ordnung und die Leiterplatte untergebracht sind, wobei die Leiterplatte mit dem Rahmen thermisch verbunden ist.
