Abstract

Bei einem Metallpigment für ein kosmetisches Präparat, wie Lippenstift, Nagellack, Lidschatten, Haarfärbemittel, Mascara-Flüssigkeit, Puder (lose oder gepresst), Eyeliner, Rouge, Haut-/Haarpflegemittel, Parfüm, Eau de Toilette, Lotions oder dergleichen ist der metallische Kern mit einer schweiß- und speichelresistenten Umkapselung versehen, wodurch ein direkter Kontakt zwischen Haut- und Metallbestandteil des Pigments unterbunden wird.

Description

  • Die Erfindung richtet sich auf mein Pigment für ein Kosmetikum, wie Lippenstift, Nagellack, Lidschatten, Haarfärbemittel, Mascara-Flüssigkeit oder dergleichen und auf ein Kosmetikum enthaltend ein derartiges Pigment.
  • Kosmetika der in Betracht stehenden Art, wie zum Beispiel lose oder gepresste Puder, Lidschatten, Lippenstifte, Eyeliner, Nagellacke, Rouges, Mascaras und dergleichen setzen sich zusammen aus einem Trägermaterial oder einer Basisformulierung sowie farb- und effektgebenden Mitteln verschiedener Art mit dem Ziel, auf Haut, Lippen oder Haaren einen bestimmten Farbeffekt zu erzielen.
  • Diese farb- und effektgebenden Mittel können Farbstoffe, verlackte organische Farbstoffe, anorganische oder organische Pigmente oder Effektpigmente sein, wobei insbesondere bei Effektpigmenten der Wunsch im Vordergrund steht, je nach dem Betrachtungswinkel des aufgebrachten Präparats einen unterschiedlichen Farbeindruck oder Helligkeitseindruck zu erzielen. Hierfür wurden im kosmetischen Bereich herkömmlicherweise insbesondere Perlglanzpigmente eingesetzt.
  • Perlglanzpigmente basieren auf plättchenförmigen Glimmerpartikeln als Substrat, die mit Metalloxiden, in erster Linie mit Titandioxid oder Eisenoxid beschichtet sind. Derartige Pigmente auf der Basis von Titanoxid sind jedoch aufgrund ihrer Zusammensetzung relativ transparent und zeigen in der Regel lediglich im sogenannten „Glanzwinkel" einen Farbeindruck, während auf Eisenoxid basierende Pigmente zwar deckender wirken, hier jedoch der winkelabhängige Farb- beziehungsweise Helligkeitseindruck in den Hintergrund gedrängt wird. Der Vorteil dieser Pigmente liegt in der hohen chemischen und thermischen Stabilität, die negative Einflüsse auf beispielsweise ein Bindemittel nahezu ausschließen, sowie in ihrer guten Hautverträglichkeit.
  • Soweit für kosmetische Zwecke bisher Metalleffektpigmente eingesetzt wurden, haben diese zwar den Vorteil, dass sie deckend, farbstark und hochbrillant sind, insbesondere weisen sie aber den Nachteil auf, dass sie den gesundheitlichen Anforderungen nicht gerecht werden, wobei vor allem zu berücksichtigen ist, dass Metall-Ionen aus dem Metall-Bestandteil, wie zum Beispiel Kupfer- oder Zink-Ionen, in das Trägermedium abgegeben werden und unerwünschte Effekte, wie Gelierung von Bindemitteln und Farbveränderungen, bewirken. Im applizierten Zustand kann es zu Kontakten mit Schweiß oder Speichel kommen, das heißt mit sauren oder basischen Medien, was ebenfalls eine verstärkte Freisetzung von Ionen bedingen kann, die nicht nur die Trägersubstanz beeinflussen, sondern unter Umständen auch unmittelbar zu gesundheitlichen Schäden, wie Hautirritationen, führen können.
  • Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Pigment der eingangs genannten Art so auszugestalten, dass es den hygienischen und gesundheitlichen Anforderungen besser gerecht wird als herkömmlicherweise im kosmetischen Bereich eingesetzte Pigmente.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass das Pigment-Metall mit einer schweiß- und speichelresistenten Umkapselung versehen ist und so ein direkter Kontakt zwischen Haut und Metallbestandteil des Pigments unterbunden wird.
  • Vorzugsweise ist die Umkapselung mit einem Bindemittel eines kosinetischen Präparats verträglich und besteht aus einer oder mehreren Schichten.
  • Die Umkapselung kann einerseits ein anorganisches Material enthalten oder hieraus bestehen, wobei dieses vorzugsweise ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe Siliciumoxid, Titanoxid, Aluminiumoxid, Eisenoxid, Ceroxid und Chromoxid sowie Mischungen hieraus.
  • Andererseits beziehungsweise alternativ kann die Umkapselung organisches Material enthalten oder hieraus bestehen, welches günstigerweise ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe Polyacrylate, Silicone, Polyolefine, Polystyrol, Polyester, Celluloseester, Polyamide, phosphororganische Substanzen sowie Mischungen hieraus.
  • Die Schichtdicke der Umkapselung kann zwischen 10 und 500nm, insbesondere bei 150 nm liegen.
  • Der metallische Kern besteht vorzugsweise aus Kupfer, Zink, Aluminium, Eisen, Zinn, Titan oder Edelstahl oder aus Legierungen der genannten Elemente.
  • Eine bevorzugte Ausftihrungsform sieht vor, dass der metallische Kern aus Aluminium besteht, die Korngröße 100% < 75 μm und 95% < 45 μm ist und der Gehalt an Quecksilber ≤ 1 ppm, an Arsen ≤ 3 ppm, an Blei ≤ 20 ppm und der Al-Gehalt ≥ 99% beträgt.
  • Ein Bronzepigment kann sich im Rahmen der Erfindung dadurch auszeichnen, dass der metallische Kern einen Gehalt an Kupfer von 70 bis 95%, einen Gehalt an Zink ≤ 30% und einen Gehalt an Aluminium und Zinn von jeweils ≤ 0,5% enthält.
  • Bei einem Kupferpigment ist vorzugsweise vorgesehen, dass der metallische Kern einen Gehalt an Kupfer von ≥ 95% aufweist.
  • Generell ist es vorteilhaft, dass der Reinheitsgrad des Metallbestandteils > 99% ist.
  • Es kann günstigerweise eine metalloxidhaltige Beschichtung vorgesehen sein, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis von Beschichtung zu metallischem Kern zwischen 1 und 0,001 liegt.
  • Ein erfindungsgemäßes Pigment kann sich weiterhin dadurch auszeichnen, dass der metallische Kern plättchenförmig mit einem Durchmesser von 1 bis 100 μm und einer mittleren Dicke von 0,05 bis 2 μm ausgebildet und mittels eines pflanzlichen Schmiermittels, insbesondere pflanzlicher Ölsäure oder Stearinsäure, vermahlen ist.
  • Die Erfindung richtet sich auch auf ein Kosmetikum enthaltend ein vorstehend charakterisiertes Pigment.
  • Nachfolgend wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Pigments näher beschrieben:
    • a) Der Kern eines Pigments für einen Puder besteht aus Aluminium.
    • b) Die Korngröße 100 % beträgt circa 50 μm und die Korngröße 95% circa 40 μm.
    • c) Der Gehalt an Quecksilber liegt bei 0,7 ppm, an Arsen bei 2 ppm, an Blei bei 2 ppm.
    • d) Die Reinheit des Aluminiumkerns ist > 99%.
    • e) Der Kern ist plättchenförmig ausgestaltet, weist einen Durchmesser von 60 μm und eine mittlere Dicke von 1 μm auf.
    • f) Die Herstellung des metallischen Kerns erfolgt durch vermahlen mit Stearinsäure als Schmiermittel.
    • g) Dieser Aluminiumkern ist umgeben von einer Umkapselung aus Siliciumoxid.
    • h) Die Schichtdicke der Umkapselung beträgt 50 nm.

Metallpigment für ein kosmetisches Präparat, wie Lippenstift, Nagellack, Lidschatten, Haarfärbemittel, Mascara-Flüssigkeit, Puder (lose oder gepresst), Eyeliner, Rouge, Haut-/Haarpflegemittel, Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Lotions oder dergleichen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der metallische Kern mit einer schweiß- und speichelresistenten Umkapselung versehen ist und so ein direkter Kontakt zwischen Haut und Metallbestandteil des Pigments unterbunden wird.
  2. Pigment nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Umkapselung mit einem Bindemittel des kosmetischen Präparats verträglich ist.
  3. Pigment nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Umkapselung aus einer oder mehreren Schichten besteht.
  4. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Umkapselung anorganisches Material enthält oder hieraus besteht.
  5. Pigment nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das anorganische Material aus der Gruppe Siliciumoxid, Titanoxid, Aluminiumoxid, Eisenoxid, Ceroxid und Chromoxid sowie Mischungen hieraus ausgewählt wird.
  6. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Umkapselung organisches Material enthält oder hieraus be steht.
  7. Pigment nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das organische Material aus der Gruppe Polyacrylate, Silicone, Polyolefine, Polystyrol, Polyester, Celluloseester, Polyamide, phosphororganische Substanzen sowie Mischungen hieraus ausgewählt wird.
  8. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schichtdicke der Umkapselung 10 bis 500nm, insbesondere bis 150 nm beträgt.
  9. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der metallische Kern aus Kupfer, Zink, Aluminium, Eisen, Zinn, Titan oder Edelstahl oder Legierungen aus den genannten Elementen besteht.
  10. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der metallische Kern aus Aluminium besteht, die Korngröße 100% < 75 μm und 95% < 45 μm ist und der Gehalt an Quecksilber ≤ 1 ppm, Arsen ≤ 3 ppm, Blei ≤ 20 ppm, sowie der Al-Gehalt ≥ 99% beträgt.
  11. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 in Form eines Bronzepigments, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der metallische Kern einen Gehalt an Kupfer von 70 bis 95%, einen Gehalt an Zink ≤ 30% und einen Gehalt an Aluminium und Zinn jeweils ≤ 0,5% enthält.
  12. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 in Form eines Kupferpigments, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der metallische Kern einen Ge halt an Kupfer ≥ 95% aufweist.
  13. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Reinheitsgrad des Metallbestandteils > 99% ist.
  14. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gewichtsverhältnis von Umkapselung zu metallischem Kern zwischen 1 und 0,001 liegt.
  15. Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der metallische Kern plättchenförmig mit einem Durchmesser von 1 bis 100 μm und einer mittleren Dicke von 0,05 bis 2 μm ausgebildet und mittels eines pflanzlichen Schmiermittels, insbesondere pflanzlicher Ölsäure oder Stearinsäure, vermahlen ist.
  16. Kosmetikum enthaltend ein Pigment nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15.
