Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind wertvolle, neue,
sulfonsäuregruppenhaltige Disazofarbstoffe der allgemeinen

Geeignete Alkylierungsmittel zur Verätherung der phenolischen
OH-Gruppen in den neuen Disazofarbstoffen sind:
Alkylhalogenide, Alkylsulfonate, Halogenhydrine, Alkylencyanide
und Alkylenoxyde.
Im einzelnen seien genannt: Äthylchlorid, Äthylbromid,
Methyljodid, Dimethyl- oder Diäthylsulfat, Benzylchlorid,
Äthylenoxyd, Propylenoxyd, Acrylnitril, 2-Chloräthanol,
3-Chlorpropanol (1).
Die neuen Farbstoffe eignen sich besonders zum Färben und Bedrucken
von natürlichen und synthetischen Polyamidfasermaterialien, beispielsweise solchen aus Wolle, Seide und SuperPolyamid wie Poly-£-caprolactam oder dem PoIykondensat von Hexamethylendiamin
und Adipinsäure. Die erhaltenen Färbungen, insbesondere solche auf Polyamid-6-materialien, zeichnen sich
durch gute Echtheitseigenschaften aus, insbesondere Naß- und Lichtechtheiten. Darüberhinaus zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen
Farbstoffe ein bemerkenswert gutes Neutralziehvermögen und
Kombinationsverhalten mit anderen geeigneten Farbstoffen für
die obengenannten Materialien.
a) Diazotierung und Kupplung der Aminomonoazoverbindung mit
Phenol.
32,7 g (0,1 Mol) der Aminoazoverbindung
(1.1)
die man auf übliche Weise durch saure Kupplung von Benzoldiazoniumchlorid
mit der entsprechenden Naphthylamine I)-sulfonsäure erhält, werden in 1,7 1 Wasser aufgeschlämmt und

durch. Natronlauge auf pH = 7 gestellt. Die Suspension wird
mit 70 ml 10 #iger Nitritlösung versetzt und auf 8o° erhitzt.
Man fügt nun soviel Dimethylformamid hinzu bis eine klare
Lösung entsteht. Diese wird durch Einlaufenlassen in ein Gemisch von 28 ml 28 #iger Salzsäure, 200 ml Wasser und 5 ml
10 #iger Nitritlösung bei 40° C unter Zugabe von Eis diazotiert.
Nach einer Stunde entfernt man evtl. überschüssige salpetrige Säure mit Amidosulfonsäure und vereinigt die Suspension des weitgehend unlöslichen Diazoniurasalzes mit einer
Lösung von 9,5 g Phenol in 200 ml Wasser und 10 ml 4 #iger
Natronlauge sowie l40 ml -20 % Natriumcarbonatlösung bei
0 - 5° C unter Zugabe von Eis. Nach beendeter Kupplung wird
mit Salzsäure neutralisiert (pH =7) und der gebildete Farbstoff in üblicher Weise isoliert. Das getrocknete Produkt
ist von dunkelbrauner Farbe, das sich in Wasser löst und als g
freie Säure folgende Formel besitzt: . "*

b) Alkylierung des Farbstoffes
Zur Alkylierung löst man den Farbstoff (1.2) in 1500 ml Wasser mit Natronlauge bei pH = 9. Man erwärmt auf 50° c
und tropft etwa 50 ml Dimethylsulfat ein. Der erhaltene,
methylierte Farbstoff wird nach dem Kaltrühren isoliert und
bei 100° C getrocknet.
Verwendet man zur Alkylierung Diäthylsulfat oder A'thylehlorid
so erhält man den äthylierten Farbstoff. Mit 2-Chloräthanol
oder Äthylenoxid läßt sich ein oxäthyliertes Produkt gewinnen.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff färbt Polyamidfasern in orangen Tönen. Die Färbung besitzt gute Naß- und Lichtechtheiten.
Ganz analog erhält man die in Tabelle Il angegebenen Farbstoffe der Formel
A-HN=K—M—K=N—K—

Je nach Löslichkeit des eingesetzten Farbstoffes verwendet man bei der Alkylierung außer Wasser auch Gemische aus
Alkohol und Wasser oder reinen Alkohol als Lösungsmittel.
In den einzelnen Spalten werden Angaben gemacht über das eingesetzte Anilin A-NH2, die Naphthylamin-1-sulfonsäure-X ^I-
und das Phenol E-OH. R ist der Rest durch den die phenolische 0H-Gruppe verschlossen ist.

Beispiel 2 ■ \
Die Suspension der diazotierten Aminomonoäzoverbindung 1,1,
die man, wie unter 1 a beschrieben, erhält, vereinigt man mit
einer sauren Lösung von 19 g N,N-Bis-(2-hydroxy-äthyl)-anilin in
200 ml Wasser und puffert mit Acetatlösung auf pH = 3 ab.
Nach beendeter Reaktion stellt man mit Natronlauge auf
pH = 10, erhitzt auf 90° G und salzt mit 5 % INaCl aus. Es
wird solange nachgerUhrt, !"bis der Farbstoff kristallin wird,
dann saugt man ab. Das gewonnene Produkt besitzt folgende
