Die durch das Patent 233487 geschützte Speisevorrichtung besteht aus einem rechteckigen, oben offenen Kasten mit eingesetzten Ecken e und einer senkrechten Scheidewand w, durch welche ein vorderer und ein hinterer Gang g gebildet wird. In dem vorderen Gange befinden sich die Speiseöffnungen für die einzelnen Kammern der Maschinen, in dem hinteren Gange befinden sich nicht ganz senkrecht und drehbar aufgehängte Bleche b, welche das zu sortierende Gemisch vorwärts und durcheinander werfen. Die Zuführung des Getreides erfolgt an dem Antriebende der Maschine, und die fortschreitende Bewegung geht in dem hinteren Gange der Speisevorrichtung nach dem Antriebe hin und in dem vorderen Gange nach entgegengesetzter Richtung. Es hat sich nun durch die Praxis ergeben, daß die so ausgeführte Speisevorrichtung bei kleinen und mittelgroßen Maschinen anstandslos funktioniert, während bei großen Maschinen die gleichmäßige Verteilung des Getreidegemisches in den langen Speisevorrichtungen trotz der Wurfbleche noch zu wünschen übrig läßt.
