Schließlich gibt es noch Preßkissen, die einen Körper aus unelastischem Werkstoff haben, auf die eine Gummidecke oder eine mit mehr oder weniger elastischem Werkstoff gefüllte taschenartige Auflage gelegt wird. Auch sind Preßkissen bekannt, bei denen in einfachster Weise an einem Holzboden ein Lederstreifen angenagelt ist, der mit einer stark gewölbten Leder- oder Stoffdecke vernäht ist. Die Preßkissen dieser Art sind mit Sand so gefüllt, daß sie eine ausgesprochen runde Form der-Preßdecke zeigen.
