Description
- Schwefelhaltiges Ungeziefervertilgungsmittel Zur Bekämpfung von Ungeziefer verwendet man hauptsächlich Schwefelpräparate in Form von Kerzen, Fäden und Packungen. Dem Fachmann ist bekannt, daß die Ungeziefervertilgung mittels Schwefeldioxyddämpfen unvollkommen ist, und zwar sind diese schwerer als Luft und bewegen sich infolgedessen nur im unteren Teil des begasten Raumes. Dies hat zur Folge, daß das Ungeziefer in der oberen Ratunhälfte, in der @es besonders gern sitzt, unvernichtet bleibt und weiternistet. Ferner wird es als unangenehm empfunden, daß Sch«-efeldämpfe den begasten Räumen und Gegenständen trotz Auslüftung längere Zeit anhaften und Niederschläge hinterlassen, die Schäden und Verunreinigungen hervorrufen.
- Bei einem bekannten Begasungs.verfahren mit Hilfe von schwefliger Säure wird diese aus einem Gemisch von Schv#efel und izi.differenten, nicht brennbaren Verdiinrningsmitteln entwickelt.
- Demgegenüber hetriift die Erfindung ein schwefelhaltiges . Ungeziefervertilgungsmittel, das zum Verbrennen gebracht wird und das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß es auf i ooo Teile Schwefelblüte 3o Teile pulverisiertes Os Sepiae enthält.
- iooo Teile Schwefelblüte werden im geschmolzenen Zustand mit 3o Teilen pulverisiertem Os Sepiae gemischt. Diese flüssige Masse wird in sog. Verdampfungsbehälter, beispielsweise einfache flache Blechbüchsen, gegossen. Kurz vor dem Erkalten werden mit Hartspiritus, imprägnierte Dochte annähernd senkrecht eingesetzt, so daß sie nach dein Erkalten der Masse in dieser Stellung festsitzen. Das Mittel wird wie folgt benutzt. Nachdem ein oder mehrere mit diesem neuen schwefelhaltigen Ungeziefervertilgungsmittel ausgerüstete Verdampfung.sbehälter, z. B. Blechbüchsen, im Raum aufgestellt sind «=erden die imprägnierten Dochte angezündets die sogleich die Masse zum Brennen bringen; wobei die Verdampfung einsetzt.
- Die Dämpfe haben gute Schwebeeigenschaften, zu denen sich eine intensive, keimtötende Wirkung gesellt, so daß nunmehr auch die oberen Raumteile einer ausgiebigen Begasung unterworfen werden und alles Ungeziefer vollständig vernichtet wird. Beim Hinzutritt von Frischluft entsteht sofort eine Verflüchtigung der Dämpfe. Wesentlich ist ferner, daß das Ungeziefervertilgungsmittel stets gebrauchsfertiz ist.

- PATENTANSPRUCH: Schwefelhaltiges Ungeziefervertilgungsmittel, das zur Verbrennung gebracht wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es auf iooo Teile Schwefelblüte 3o Teile pulverisiertes, Os Sepiae enthält.
