Description
Aus LIetall bestehender Kunst-oder Gebrauche je genstand mit ZellenemailmusterArt or use made of metal, depending on the object with cell enamel pattern
Auf diesem Y/ege war eine ilassenfertigung-möglich.·In the arts and crafts it has been known for a long time, Items of particular value made of Iietall with a To provide cellular pattern, whereby the object or eil 'ceil same, has a number of depressions that form the pattern and filled with different colored enamels. Ee ^ ibt different Techniques for making such items. Either the indentations were carved out of the full metal ferubens chme Iz) or on the flat curses TIe t <· j ripe en or wires shaped according to the pattern, soldered on, to form the pits. In both cases, precious metals or bronze and tombac were mainly used can be easily edited, used. These types of production required a high level of craftsmanship and demanded for the production a single object a considerable time. More recently, badges or similar small objects made of soft metals have been found like copper, reads sing, "bronze and the like", by embossing with indentations which were then filled in with the emails. On this y / ege mass production was possible.
In deviation from the known method but it is the 'edanke invention to produce the articles of iron and casters. Accordingly, the wells (cells) filled with the enamels should be formed from a uniformly cast iron body, preferably from cast iron. Under iron 1 everyone is au! to understand the basis of Fe built, castable material. The advantage of secondary manufacture is also given, but there is also the fact that the courtesy of the manufacture of such high-quality objects is created in this way, even in cases where non-ferrous or soft metals are not available for such purposes. This results in expanded areas of application for the bisenkunstguß, which are particularly important with regard to the export Dmails in the recesses the problem
Wände der Vertiefungen vorgenommen werden.the permanent connection between the two memory substances. To the There is a difference between the precious and white metals Iron as a base material, namely the risk of the enamel boiling up during baking, so that it is not possible from the outset seems to send emails without the application of an intermediate layer, such as one so called ". Grandes Interlayer in the finished body, as it attaches to the side of the Cell walls should extend to the surface, as a disturbing border between the individual bmail feathers of different colors in Appearance. The inventive solution to this problem is in the fact that such a composition was chosen for the emails that they without the application of a special intermediate layer, deh. direct to the base body made of iron with solid Adhesion and can be applied without affecting the appearance. Due to the special composition of the enamel mass, avoided the risk of boiling, which can happen, for example, that the melting temperature of the enamels is significantly lower is than usual. By adding a correspondingly high amount of easily liquid, but otherwise in no way disruptive components this goal can be achieved. Mention may be made, for example Ilennige and borax. In order to increase the artistic effect of the objects, according to the invention, the surfaces that remain visible, That is, the upper surface of the webs or walls delimiting the enamel-filled depressions, metallic through a special treatment Made shiny so that they take on a silver-white sheen. This treatment can be done in a simple manner by carefully sanding it down respectively. A further increase in the effect can be achieved according to the invention that other parts of the object in question, for example, the back or the inside, can also be enamelled in a suitable manner, also using normal processes can be applied. The order in which the various! Arrows are enamelled depends on the melting or melting point. Burn-in temperatures of the enamels in question. So that the enamels filled and burned into the recesses after the surface treatment, which usually leads to a matting of the colors, to regain their gloss, is proposed with the invention, subsequently on the surface treatment to bring these enamels to flow again by heating. After that, a careful removal can be done of the scale can be made from the surface of the webs or walls of the depressions.
It is irrelevant for the invention whether only the Teq.1 containing the depressions of the object or the entire Object consists of a cast bisque body. Under the invention therefore also includes such objects, apart from the rope containing the cell enamel pattern consist of other materials.
