Das Hauptpatent schützt eine Kappenverbindung, die kardangelenkartig ausgebildet ist. In den Abb. sind 1 und 1' die zu verbindenden Kappen, die z. B. mittels der Ketten 2 aneinandergekupppelt sind. An der Kappe 1 sind die Ketten z. B. fest angebracht, während sie an der Kappe 1' unter Zwischenschaltung eines Bolzens 3, der zude, eine Sicherung 4 gegen Verlust und Abrutschen der Ketten aufweisen kann, lösbar befestigt sind. Ist der Stempel unter der Kappe 1' geraubt, die Kappe mit ihrem freien Ende auf das Liegende gefallen und der Bruch nachgekommen, so daß die Kappe 1' in ihrer Schräglage belastet ist, wird der Bolzen 3, ohne die Lage der Kappe 1' verändern zu müssen, herausgeschlagen. Durch ein Verschieben des Bügels kommt dieser von dem Flansch frei und gibt den Schlitz frei. Da das letzte Flanschende unter dem Bolzen 8 entfernt ist, kann der Bügel um den Bolzen ab- wärts schwenken.
