Abstract

The stop disclosed consists basically of two plates (8 and 9), one of which has a lower grip element (19). These two plates (8, 9) are linked by a hinge (10). The dimensions of the grip elements (13, 14) are such that the stop can be fitted not only in the cut-out in the curtain rail but also at any other point in the normal groove (4) in the rail. The locking strips (19) on the plate (9) increase, when closed, the pressure on the edges of the rail and hence the firmness of the fit of the stop, which can be inserted and removed simply without the need for tools.
