Abstract

The apparatus has a receptacle for the resultant filtrate (coffee, tea, etc.) and a filter vessel with an outlet opening, which during the filtration process is mounted on the receptacle. The contact region between the filter vessel (3) and the filtrate receptacle (1) is sealed airtight and an air suction channel (9) from an evacuation unit leads into the receptacle. The evacuation unit serves for production of a reduced pressure in the filtrate receptacle.
