Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af vaskstforøgende foder samt vaekst= fremmende fodertilsætning.
Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af vakstforøgende foder.
Den stadig stigende verdensbefolkning, men også ændrede ernæringsformer vækker behov for at opnå større udbytter af kød og en formindskelse af fedtandelen ved husdyrhold, især ved svineopdræt. Dette har ført til, at forskningen efter forbindelser, som har disse ønskelige egenskaber, er blevet alment intensiveret. Talrige forbindelser med sådanne egenskaber kommer imidlertid ikke i betragtning, fordi de har uønskede bivirkninger på grund af deres hormonkarakter. Særdeles lovende forsøg med antibiotika-tilsætninger til dyrefoderet måtte opgives, og mange steder er sådanne tilsætninger blevet forbudt.

Det har nu vist sig, at visse isoflavon-derivater med fordel kan anvendes som fodertilsætninger, da de befordrer væksttilvæksten hos husdyr på en sådan måde, at det opnåede vægtoverskud er kød og ikke fedt. Dette er især vigtigt ved svineopdræt.
I overensstemmelse hermed angår den foreliggende opfindelse en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af vækstforøgende foder, og denne fremgangsmåde er ejendommelig ved, at man i foderet blander et 5-methyl-7-hydroxy-isoflavon-derivat med den almene formel CEL 0

i hvilken betyder et hydrogenatom eller en eventuelt med hydroxy substitueret alkylgruppe med en lige eller forgrenet kæde med 1-6 carbonatomer i en mængde på 0,0001-0,1 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis efter blanding, fortynding eller opløsning med yderligere tilsætningsstoffer.
Opfindelsen angår endvidere en vækstfremmende fodertilsætning, som er ejendommelig ved, at den indeholder mindst én af forbindelserne med den ovenfor anførte formel (I), i hvilken R1 har den angivne betydning.
Isoflavon-derivater, der er usubstitueret i 5-stillin-gen og nært stående til forbindelserne med den almene formel (I), er beskrevet i DE-OS nr. 2.125.245.
I ovenstående formel betyder fortrinsvis et hydrogenatom, en methyl-, ethyl-, isopropyl-, hydroxyethyl-, 2-methyl-propyl- eller 3-methyl-butylgruppe.
Særlig fordelagtige repræsentanter for forbindelserne med den almene formel (I) er: 5-Methyl-7-hydroxy-isoflavon, 5-methyl-7-methoxy-iso-flavon, 5-methyl-7-ethoxy-isoflavon, 5-methyl-7-iso-propoxy-iso-flavon, 5-methyl-7-(2-hydroxy-ethoxy)-isoflavon, 5-methyl-7-(2--methyl-propyloxy)-isoflavon og 5-methyl-7-(3-methyl-butyloxy)--isoflavon.

Under en fodringsperiode på 5 uger sikrer 5-methyl-7--ethoxy-isoflavon hos høns en væksttilvækst på 9-10% i forhold til kontrollen.
Der foretrækkes indhold af aktiv forbindelse i foderet på 1-10 g/100 kg, især 2 g pr. 100 kg. foder. Som tilsætningsstoffer kan man yderligere anvende f.eks. vitaminer, aminosyrer, cholin-chlorid, mineralsure salte og sporeelementer. Fodertilsætningen kan sættes til foderet som pulver, granulat, opløsning, emulsion eller suspension. Man kan også anvende drikkelige blandinger, der blandes i dyrenes drikkevand.
Forbindelserne med den almene formel (I) kan fremstilles på forskellige måder. Man omsætter f.eks. ketoner med den almene formel CH 0 ) i *5 η i (il) ri>^oh hvor R·*" har den ovenfor angivne betydning, med orthomyresyreal-kylester, f.eks. -ethylester, i et aprotisk opløsningsmiddel med højere kogepunkt, såsom pyrrolidin, dimethylformamid eller diethylenglycol, i nærværelse af en basisk katalysator, såsom piperidin, morpholin eller pyrrolidin.
Ved en anden metode omsætter man ketoner med den almene formel (II) med hydrogencyanid eller cyansalte i nærværelse af en hydrogenhalogenidsyre, idet der anvendes aprotiske opløsningsmidler med ikke-basisk karakter, såsom diethylether. Som cyanid anvendes fortrinsvis zinkcyanid. Reaktionsblandingen mættes med tør hydrogenchloridgas, og endelig spaltes de dannede substituerede a-formimino-2-hydroxy-phenyl-benzyl-keton-chlorhydrater ved behandling med vand.
Ved en yderligere anden metode omsætter man ketoner med den almene formel (II) med myresyrealkylester i nærværelse af et alkalimetal. Ved endnu en metode omsætter man ketoner med den almene formel (II) med alkyl-oxalyl-halogenider og forsæber og/el- 4 1427 A1 ler decarboxylerer den fremkomne isoflavonester. Ved en yderligere metode omsætter man ketoner med den almene formel (II) med organiske carboxylsyreanhydrider.
De som udgangsforbindelser anvendte forbindelser med den almene formel (III er hidtil ukendte forbindelser, og de kan fremstilles ud fra den tilsvarende 5-methyl-7-alkoxy-isoflavon ved kogning i basisk væske.
Nedenstående forsøgsresultater viser den fordelagtige anaboliske virkning af fodertiIsætninger ifølge opfindelsen: A. Forsøgsdyr: Broyler-haner Forsøgstid: 7 uger Antal dyr pr* gruppe; 20

Dette forsøg viser fremskridtet ved den foreliggende opfindelse i forhold til den kendte teknik, der er repræsenteret af DE-OS nr. 2.125.245: Aktiv forbindelse 7-propoxy-isoflavon.
30 haner pr. gruppe opfodres over et tidsrum på 35 dage. Koncentrationen af forsøgsforbindelserne ifølge den foreliggende opfindelse og referenceforbindelsen (7-isopropoxy-isoflavon) er konstant 2 g/100 kg fodermiddel. Den første uge af forsøgsperioden får forsøgsdyrene startfoder og dernæst opdrætningsfoder. I 5-12 dage får dyrene sulfaquinoxalin som coccidiostatisk middel.
