Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af basisk aluminiumoxycarbonathydrat, der er egnet til anvendelse som antacidum, dvs. til afstumpning af mavesyren. Fremgangsmåden er af den i indledningen til 5 kravet angivne art.
Det er allerede kendt at fremstille en som antacidum anvendelig aluminiumhydroxidgel ved samtidigt at sætte to vandige opløsninger af aluminiumsulfat og natriumhydrogencarb-onat og/eller natriumcarbonat til en foreliggende vandmæng-10 de eller en elektrolytopløsning og derefter frafiltrere, vaske og tørre det fremkomne bundfald. Under fældningen opretholdes med fordel en pH-værdi på 6-8 i det foreliggende medium. Det er formålet med denne kendte fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en som antacidum anvendelig aluminium-15 hydroxidgel at gøre det billigere aluminiumsulfat anvendeligt til fældningen i stedet for det dyrere aluminium-chlorid og aluminiumnitrat.
Det har vist sig, at det ved omsætningen af aluminiumsulfat med alkalimetalhydrogencarbonat og/eller alkalimetalcarb-20 onat udfældede basiske aluminiumoxycarbonathydrat til trods for opretholdelse af en pH-værdi på 7-8 under fældningen udsættes for en stærk alkalisk efterreaktion, hvorved pH-værdien af reaktionsblandingen efter fældningen efterhånden forøges indtil ca. 9-10. En sådan stærkt alka-25 lisk pH-værdi gør imidlertid fældningsproduktet uegnet til anvendelse som antacidum, da de fysiologiske forhold i maven herved ødelægges. Hertil må desuden tages i betragtning, at pH-værdien af fældningsproduktet ved den videre forarbejdning til det egentlige antacidumpræparat, der i 30 den galeniske tilberedning foreligger som gel, ved den fineste fordeling normalt stiger yderligere. Således har en gel, der er fremstillet af et aluminiumoxycarbonathydrat med en pH-værdi på 9, en pH-værdi på 10-11.

Man har nu fundet, at denne uønskede efterreaktion af det udfældede basiske aluminiumoxycarbonathydrat under forøgelse af pH-værdien kan forhindres, dersom man ved fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen, efter endt fældning 5 indstiller reaktionsblandingens pH-værdi på ca. 6,0, med et aluminiumsalt, der i vandig opløsning reagerer surt som følge af hydrolyse, og lader det udfældede produkt henstå i mindst ca. 12, fortrinsvis dog 15 timer, før frafiltreringen. Egnet til indstillingen er f.eks. salte 10 af stærke syrer, såsom aluminiumchlorid, aluminiumnitrat og/eller aluminiumsulfat.
Ved henstandstiden på mindst 12, dog fortrinsvis 15 timer, efter indstillingen af reaktionsblandingens pH-værdi på ca. 6,0 lader fældningsproduktet sig særlig godt ren-15 se for biprodukter ved udvaskning. Den antacide virkning af det ved fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen fremstillede produkt er bedre end virkningen af de hidtil fremstillede aluminiumhydroxider og aluminiumhydroxycarbonater.
For at undgå efterreaktionen og således forhindre en stærk 20 alkalisk reaktion (pH 10-11) indstilles reaktionsproduktet efter endt fuldstændig fældning som nævnt på en pH-værdi på ca. 6 ved hjælp af en vandig opløsning af aluminiumsalte af stærke syrer. Denne indstillede værdi skal i tilslutning hertil forblive konstant i 2 timer og 25 bør ikke stige mærkbart i løbet af ca. 15 timer, dvs. ikke ligge væsentligt over pH 7.
Fældningen af det basiske aluminiumoxycarbonathydrat ved omsætning af aluminiumsulfat med alkalimetalhydrogen-carbonat og/eller alkalimetalcarbonat foretages ved stue-30 temperatur, fortrinsvis dog under denne og især ved 16-18°C.
Natriumhydrogencarbonat foretrækkes som alkalimetalhydr-ogencarbonat. Vægtforholdet af aluminiumsulfat til alkali- 3 143126 metalhydrogencarbonat er hensigtsmæssigt 1:2 til 1:3,5.
Man foretrækker dog et vægtforhold på 1:2,5. Det anvendte aluminiumsulfat indeholder almindeligvis ca. 18 mol vand.
Under fældningen, hvor der hensigtsmæssigt omrøres kraf-5 tigt, holdes reaktionsopløsningens pH-værdi i det neutrale til svagt alkaliske område (pH 6,8-7,8, fortrinsvis 7,0-7,3) .
Efter endt fældning, indstilling af den alkaliske reaktionsblanding til en pH-værdi på ca. 6,0 med en alumi-10 niumchloridopløsning og henstand i mindst 12 timer, fortrinsvis dog 15 timer, filtreres fældningsproduktet fra, vaskes grundigt med vand og afvandes derefter hensigtsmæssigt med en med vand blandbar organisk væske, f.eks. en alkohol, såsom ethanol, skilles fra væsken på egnet 15 måde, f.eks. ved centrifugering, og tørres i vakuum ved kun let forhøjet temperatur.
Det på denne måde vundne basiske aluminiumoxycarbonat-hydrat er let opløseligt i 0,1 N mineralsyre. Aluminiumindholdet beregnet som A1203 ligger mellem 49,1 og 58,6% 20 og CC^-indholdet mellem 6 og 8%. Et produkt med et sådant C02-indhold er særlig velegnet til anvendelse som antaci-dum, idet der under 4% C02 næppe er nogen antacid virkning, og produkter med et højere C02“indhold på f.eks.
12% eller mere ikke er stabile og erfaringsmæssigt rea-25 gerer stærkt alkalisk.
I sekretionsforsøg med kunstig mavesaft giver det vundne fældningsprodukt en tid på 90 min./50 mg tør substans, hvor tiden måles mellem pH 3,0 (stigende) og pH 3,0 (faldende) . Den antacide virkning (Schaub-prøve) andrager 30 85 min./l g tør substans, hvorved 370 ml kunstig mave saft med pH 1,5 neutraliseres. I perioden med antacid virkning synker den proteolytiske aktivitet af maveen-zymerne (pepsin) til under 10% af normalværdien.

En vandig suspension har en pH-værdi på 7,8; i 151's koncentration i en gel er den 7,5-7,7. Produktet er fri for sulfat- og chloridioner. Alt i alt opfylder produktet dermed de betingelser, der må stilles til et godt virksomt 5 antacidum. Tegningen angiver sekretionskurven 1 og den antacide virkning 2.
Eksempel 1 130.0 kg teknisk aluminiumsulfat med 18 mol vand opløses i 1000 1 ledningsvand (opløsning 1).
10 280,0 kg teknisk natriumhydrogencarbonat opløses i 3000 1 ledningsvand (opløsning 2).
Opløsning 1 og opløsning 2 ledes sammen under kraftig omrøring ved 16-18°C i et opsamlingskar med 1000 1 ledningsvand under overholdelse af en pH-værdi på 7,0-7,3. Indløbs-15 hastigheden er 4000 1/h. Reaktionsproduktet fælder straks ud i form af korn. Efter endt udfældning sætter man til reaktionschargen en 5%'s aluminiumchloridopløsning, til pH-værdien har indstillet sig på 6,0. Hertil kræves 1 time. Efter henstand i 15 timer filtreres det fremstil-20 lede fældningsprodukt fra og udvaskes, indtil det bortstrømmende vaskefiltrat ikke mere giver nogen nævneværdig reaktion for sulfat og chlorid. Herefter opslæmmes det udvaskede fældningsprodukt i så meget ethanol, at det let kan gennemrøres. Efter en behandlingstid på 30 25 minutter til afvanding fracentrifugeres produktet skarpt og tørres i vakuum ved 40-50°C/l-2 mm Hg-tryk.
Eksempel 2 130.0 kg teknisk aluminiumsulfat med 18 mol vand opløses i 1000 1 ledningsvand (opløsning 1).
30 280,0 kg teknisk natriumhydrogencarbonat opløses i 3000 1 ledningsvand (opløsning 2).
