Abstract
Substituted thienobenzodiazepinones of the general formula I <IMAGE> where R1 denotes hydrogen or alkyl having 1-4 carbon atoms, R2 denotes halogen or has one of the meanings of R1, R3 denotes halogen or a group -N(R4)R5, and R4 denotes alkyl having 1-4 carbon atoms or alkenyl having 3-5 carbon atoms, R5 has one of the meanings of R4 or denotes a group -(CH2)m-N(R6)R7, or R4 and R5, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, form a morpholino group, a pyrrolidino group, a piperidino group, a hexahydroazapin-1-yl group, a piperazin-1-yl group which is optionally substituted in the 4 position by methyl, ethyl or benzyl, a 2,4-dimethylpiperazin-1-yl group or a hexahydro-1H-1,4-diazapin-1-yl group which is substituted in the 4 position by methyl or ethyl, and R6 denotes alkyl having 1-4 carbon atoms, R7 denotes alkyl having 1-4 carbon atoms, A denotes a straight-chain or branched alkylene group having 1-5 carbon atoms, and m denotes 2 or 3, and acid addition salts thereof, are prepared by acylating compounds II <IMAGE> and, where appropriate, subsequently amidating and/or converting resulting bases into acid addition salts or resulting acid addition salts into the free base or pharmacologically tolerable acid addition salts. The compounds I are previously unknown compounds which have a protective effect on the stomach and intestine and can be used for treating diseases which are due to disorders in the stomach or the intestine, or the compounds are intermediates.
