Claims (19)
1. Med kappe forsynet projektil, der har en forreste og en bageste ende, der er adskilt af længden af projektilet, og som omfatter: a) en graverbar kappe (11), der har en indvendig overflade, og b) en ud i et stykke central kerne (12), hvor den centrale kerne (12) har en spidsbueformet forreste ende (10), der strækker sig til en keglestubformet midterafsnitdel (14) , hvor den keglestubformede midterafsnitdel (14) strækker sig derfra til et cylindrisk afsnit (16), og det cylindriske afsnit har en i det væsentlige mindre længde end den keglestubformede midterafsnitdel (14), og det cylindriske afsnit strækker sig ind i et bagud tilspidsende endeafsnit (13), hvor: den indvendige overflade af kappen er i kontinuerlig kontakt med den centrale kerne (12) langs med den spidsbueformede forreste ende (10), det cylindriske afsnit (16) og den tilspidsende endedel (13), og den keglestubformede midterafsnitdel (14) er tilspidset og tilspidser kun hen mod den forreste ende af projektilet for at tilvejebringe en fuldt omsluttende tilspidset adskillelse (15) mellem kappen (11) og kernen (12) langs med i det mindste en del af længden af den keglestubformede midterafsnitdel (14), hvilket derved tillader en progressiv gravering af kappen (11), når projektilet affyres gennem et riflet løb.
2. Projektil ifølge krav 1, hvor kappen (11) ikke er understøttet i midterafsnitdelen (14) langs med i det mindste en del af længden af midteraf snitdelen (14) over længden af adskillelsen (15).
3. Projektil ifølge krav 1, hvor den fuldt omsluttende tilspidsede adskillelse (15) er i form af et fuldt omsluttende tilspidsende mellemrum, der foreligger mellem kappen (11) og den fulde længde af midterafsnitdelen (14) .
4. Projektil ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den halvkegleformede vinkel af den keglestubformede del (14) af kernen (12) er mellem 0,7° og 1,0°.
5. Projektil ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, hvor den halvkegleformede vinkel af den keglestubformede del (14) af kernen (12) er mellem 0,85° og 0,95°.
6. Projektil ifølge krav 1, hvor den cylindriske del (16) af kernen (12) er mindre end 30 % af længden af midterafsnitdelen (14) .
7. Projektil ifølge krav 1, hvor den bagud tilspidsende endedel (13) af kernen (12) har en halvkegleformet vinkel på ca. 7 grader.
8. Projektil ifølge krav 2 eller 3, hvor den fuldt omsluttende tilspidsede adskillelse (15) er optaget af et komprimerbart medium.
9. Projektil ifølge krav 8, hvor det komprimerbare medium er luft.
10. Projektil ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den centrale kerne (12) hovedsageligt består af et materiale, der er udvalgt fra gruppen, som består af kulstofstål, wolfram, wolframlegeringer, wolfram-nylon forbindelser og wolfram-tin forbindelser.
11. Projektil ifølge krav 10, hvor den centrale kerne (12) har en hårdhed, og hårdheden af den centrale kerne (12) i det mindste er 45 på Rockwell C hårdhedsskalaen.

Projektil ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav i kombination med et hylster for at danne en patron, hvor hylsteret er dimensioneret til at passe ind i et skydevåben, hvor den samlede længde af projektilet er større end den for et konventionelt kugleprojektil, og hvor projektilet, når det er anbragt i sit hylster, tilvejebringer en patron med en længde, der er egnet til passe ind i et skydevåben, der har et hylster med den samme diameter.
18. Projektil- og hylsterkombination i form af en patron ifølge krav 17, hvor hylsteret er fri af giftige komponenter.
19. Projektil- og hylsterkombination i form af en patron ifølge krav 17, hvor hylsteret er blyfrit.
