Abstract

The assembly is assembled from a metal part 2 and a plastic muff 3 which is injection moulded around the metal part and thereby inseparably connected to this. In the outer surface 9 of an enlargement 10 of the metal part, there is a circumferential groove with dovetail profile or a circumferential protrusion with similar profile. At the injection moulding of the plastic part, a complementary protrusion 18 or a complementary groove with dovetail profile is formed on said plastic part. A corresponding dovetail groove and a complementary protrusion 19 engaging therein is found in an annular transition surface 7, 8 between the protrusion 10 of the metal part and an end portion 6 having a smaller diameter. The muff 3 has a free end 11 protruding out beyond the end portion 6 of the metal part and whereby the muff - and thereby the whole assembly - may be fastened in a tightening way to a plastic conduit by welding. <IMAGE>
