Description

Patentkrav: 1. A claim for draining fluid from a body cavity comprising a flexible drainage tube provided with a drainage opening in the front end portion of the drainage tube and an inflatable balloon portion enclosing the tube for holding the catheter inserted into the body cavity which is the balloon portion. a slotted tubular curve piece attached to the drainage tube, characterized in that the drainage tube is additionally provided with one or more drainage openings at the opposite end of the balloon portion between the balloon portion and the curve portion attachment to the drainage tube and the balloon portion. A catheter according to claim 1, wherein the slit tube exhibits at least two slats, preferably three or four slats. A catheter according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the slit tube is closed at its front end and encloses both the end portion and the balloon portion and exhibits a substantially cone-shaped basket in the inflated state of the balloon portion. A catheter according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the tube piece is made of silicone. A catheter according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the drainage tube is provided with an end piece in the front end portion which is mounted at the end of the flexible drainage tube. A catheter according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the drainage tube is made of latex or other resilient silicone. A catheter according to claim 2, wherein the lamellae exhibit a middle portion between two end portions, the middle portion being formed with a thinner material thickness than the thickness of the end port ions.
