Claims (28)
1. Fremgangsmåde til overvågning af individuel metabolisk respons og til at generere næringsmiddel-feedback som muliggør at overvåge virkningen af indtaget fødevare og drik for en egnet forsøgsperson, hvor den egnede forsøgsperson har et stabilt fasteglukoseniveau uden at behøve at anvende exogent insulin, der involverer overvågning af et glukoseniveau i den egnede forsøgsperson, omfattende trinnene at: a) fortløbende udføre en flerhed af målinger af et glukoseniveau i den egnede forsøgspersons med en måleindretning (100; 150); b) i måleindretningen (100; 150) generere første data svarende til det målte glukoseniveau; c) sende det første data til en analyseindretning (200); d) i analyseindretningen (200) generere andet data der repræsenterer mindst et mål for variabilitet af et glukoseniveau for forsøgspersonen fra en tidsserie af glukosemålinger repræsenteret af det første data; e) sammenligne det andet data med referencedata og yderligere bearbejde et resultat af sammenligningen for at generere en konklusion omkring virkningen affødevarer indtaget af forsøgspersonen på individuelt glykæmisk respons fra forsøgspersonen; og f) tilvejebringe feedback svarende til konklusionen på en outputindretning (200).
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved at for at generere det andet data beregnes det mindst ene mål for variabilitet for første data der repræsenterer to forskellige tidsintervaller der giver et første resultat og et andet resultat og ved at det første resultat og det andet resultat tages i betragtning til at sammenligne det andet data med referencedata og til yderligere bearbejdning af resultatet af sammenligningen for at generere konklusionen.
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved at den yderligere omfatter trinnene at tilvejebringe forslag med hensyn til hvordan personlige metaboliske mål nås, især forslag omkring anbefalet type, portionsstørrelse og/eller timing for fødeindtag.
4. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 3, omfattende trinnene at etablere et glukosereferenceniveau for forsøgspersonen, til at blive anvendt til at generere det andet data, til at sammenligne det andet data med referencedata og/eller til yderligere behandling af resultatet af sammenligningen for at generere konklusionen.
5. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 4, omfattende et trin af selv-kalibrering for måleindretningen (100; 150) til etablering af glukosereferenceniveauet, hvorimod glukosereferenceniveauet svarer til et fastende glukoseniveau for forsøgspersonen.
6. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 5, kendetegnet ved at til at generere det andet data beregnes en middelværdi og/eller standardafvigelse af glukoseniveaumålinger repræsenteret af det første data og/eller af mængder afledt fra det første data.
7. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 6, kendetegnet ved at for at generere det andet data en standardafvigelse af en hældning af en funktion der repræsenterer tidsserierne af glukosemålinger repræsenteret af det første data.
8. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 5 kendetegnet ved at for at generere det andet data beregnes en forskel mellem en første glukosemåling taget om morgenen og en anden glukosemåling taget om aftenen forudgående eller efterfølgende denne morgen, idet begge glukosemålinger er repræsenteret af det første data.
9. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 8, kendetegnet ved at mindst to glukoseområder er defineret, ved at glukosemålingerne repræsenteret af det første data er klassificeret i henhold til hvilke af disse områder det falder under og ved at klassifikationerne af en flerhed af målinger anvendes for at generere det andet data.
10. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 9, kendetegnet ved at genereringen af det andet data involveres bestemmelsen af værdier i faserumkoordinater fra tidsserierne af glukosemålinger repræsenteret af det første data og ved at disse faserumværdier yderligere behandles og/eller vises på outputindretningen.
11. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 10, kendetegnet ved at tidsserierne af glukosemålinger er valgt svarende til et tidsinterval specificeret af brugerinput.
12. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 10, kendetegnet ved at tidsserierne af glukosemålinger er valgt svarende til et tidsinterval der automatisk bestemmes baseret på det første data, især svarende til et tidsinterval relateret til et enkelt måltid, bestemt ved at påvise en stigning fra et glukosereferenceniveau og en tilbagevenden til glukosereferenceniveauet.
13. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 12, kendetegnet ved at yderligere information, især information omkring timing, mængde og/eller type af indtagne fødevarer, omkring fysisk aktivitet og/eller omkring værdier af fysiologiske parametre såsom hjerterytme, modtaget fra en yderligere indretning eller fra brugerinput tages i betragtning til at sammenligne det andet data med referencedataet og/eller til yderligere behandling af resultaterne af sammenligningen for at generere konklusionen.
14. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 13, kendetegnet ved at det andet data omfatter en måling for glykæmisk variabilitet valgt fra mindst en af følgende: a) M-værdi; b) Pi-indeks; c) variationskoefficient; d) J-indeks; e) MODD; f) CONGA; g) lav BG-indeks (LBGI), høj BG-indeks (HBGI) og/eller CGM/BG risikoindeks; h) gennemsnitligt dagligt risikoområde (ADRR).
15. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et af kravene 1 til 14, yderligere omfattende trinnene at a) generere tredje data der repræsenterer et mål for en mængde glykæmisk respons fra forsøgspersonen, især en område-under-kurverne (AUC)-værdi, fra tidsserierne af glukoseniveaumålinger repræsenteret af det første data; b) sammenligne det tredje data med et forudbestemt individuelt glykæmisk responsbudget for den egnede forsøgsperson, idet det individuelle glykæmiske responsbudget repræsenterer en total en mængde af individuelt glykæmisk respons tilladeligt for en vis tidsperiode.
16. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 15, kendetegnet ved at et resultat af sammenligningen af det tredje data med det forudbestemte individuelle glykæmiske responsbudget tages i betragtning til at sammenligne det andet data med referencedataet og/eller til yderligere behandling af resultatet af sammenligningen for at generere konklusionen.
17. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 16, kendetegnet ved at trinnet at tilvejebringe feedback på outputindretningen (200) involverer brugerinteraktion med henblik på at styre tydning af det andet data.
18. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 17, omfattende et trin at korrigere et råsignal svarende til det målte glukoseniveau mod drift, signalustabilitet eller systemfejl.
19. Glukoseovervågningssystem til overvågning af glykæmisk individuelt metabolisk respons hos en egnet forsøgsperson og til at generere næringsmiddelfeedback der muliggør overvågning af virkningen af indtaget fødevare og drik for en egnet forsøgsperson, hvor den egnede forsøgsperson har et stabilt fasteglukoseniveau uden at behøve at anvende exogent insulin, omfattende a) en måleindretning (100; 150) omfattende en sensor (160) til fortløbende at udføre en flerhed af målinger af et glukoseniveau i den egnede forsøgsperson og omfattende en datagenerator til at generere første data svarende til det målte glukoseniveau; b) en analyseindretning (200) omfattende en computer til at genere andet data der repræsenterer mindst et mål for variabilitet af forsøgspersonens glukoseniveau fra en tidsserie af glukosemålinger repræsenteret af det første data, og til at sammenligne det andet data med referencedata og til yderligere bearbejdning af et resultat af sammenligningen til at generere en konklusion omkring virkningen affødevarer indtaget af forsøgspersonen på individuelt glykæmisk respons fra forsøgspersonen; og c) en computer-styret output-indretning (200) til at tilvejebringe feedback svarende til konklusionen.
20. Systemet ifølge krav 19, kendetegnet ved at måleindretningen (150) er en implanterbar glukosesensor (160).
21. Systemet ifølge krav 20, kendetegnet ved at måleindretningen (150) omfatter et lager (180) til temporær lagring af det første data og ved at måleindretningen (150) og analyseindretningen (200) omfatter transmissionskomponenter (190, 191, 240) til off-loading af det akkumulerede lagredet første data til analyseindretningen (200), især efter måleindretningen (150) er blevet fjernet fra legemet af forsøgspersonen.
22. Systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 19 til 21, kendetegnet ved at måleindretningen (100) og analyseindretningen (200) omfatter transmissionskomponenter (140, 141, 240, 241) til at sende det første data fra måleindretningen (150) til analyseindretningen (200) via en trådløs forbindelse, yderligere kendetegnet ved at analyseindretningen (200) omfatter et lager til lagring af det modtagne første data.
23. Systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 19 til 22, kendetegnet ved en håndholdt indretning (200) omfattende analyseindretningen og outputindretningen.
24. Systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 19 til 23, kendetegnet ved at analyseindretningen (200) omfatter et lager til lagring af referencedataet for den egnede forsøgsperson.
25. Systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 19 til 24, kendetegnet ved at måleindretningen (150) og/eller analyseindretningen (200) omfatter en computer og/eller et analogt elektronisk kredsløb til filtrering af støj og/eller til korrektion af et råsignal svarende til det målte glukoseniveau mod drift, signalustabilitet eller systemfejl.
26. Systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 19 til 25, kendetegnet ved at analyse- og/eller outputindretningen (200) omfatter en brugerinputindretning (260) og ved at det er udformet og programmeret på en sådan måde at en bruger kan styre tydning af det andet data ved at anvende inputindretningen (260).
27. Systemet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 19 til 26, kendetegnet ved at analyseindretningen (200) omfatter et lager til lagring af andet data såvel som bruger-specificeret information.
28. Computerprogramprodukt omfattende programkode der når det udføres på en analyseindretning udfører følgende trin, som gør det muligt at overvåge virkningen af indtaget fødevare og drik for en egnet forsøgsperson, hvor den egnede forsøgsperson har et stabilt fasteglukoseniveau uden at behøve at anvende exogent insulin: a) generere andet data der repræsenterer mindst et mål for variabilitet af et glukoseniveau af den egnede forsøgsperson fra en tidsserie af glukosemålinger repræsenteret af første data; b) sammenligne det andet data med referencedata; c) generere en konklusion omkring virkningen affødevarer indtaget af forsøgspersonen på individuelt glykæmisk respons fra forsøgspersonen, baseret på sammenligningsresultatet.
