Frembringelsen omfatter en skruepresse (1) med indløb (3) hvor indløbet (3) omfatter et cylindrisk rørstykke (10) med endeflanger (7A,7B), som er forsynet med et antal huller (8), samt et indløbsror (6), der er forbundet til det cylindriske rørstykke (10) via et åbningshul (11). Desuden angår frembringelsen anvendelse af skruepresse (1) til afvanding af væskeholdigt materiale herunder slam. Med frembringelsen opnås, at rørforinger til indløb af en skruepresser let kan optimeres ved installation af skruepresseren til en given applikation.
