Abstract

1. A mixing and storage silo with a plurality of silo chambers disposed one inside the other, of which an internally disposed silo chamber reaches at least approximately the same heigh as an outer chamber surrounding it, characterised in that the inner chamber (4) is in the form of an overflow-homogenising silo chamber with overflow openings discharging into the outer chamber (5) and the outer chamber (5) is in the form of a throughflow vortex-effect mixing chamber with bottom sections which can be alternately ventilated so as to create the vortex effect.
