Claims (19)
1. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) omfattende et substrat (104); en downconverter (102) støttet af substratet (104), hvor downconverteren (102) absorberer indfaldende lys med en bred båndbredde og udsender lys ved en emissionsbølgelængde i det væsentlige eller fuldstændigt længere end bølgelængder af den brede båndbredde; og et første båndblokfilter (101) støttet af substratet (104), et andet båndblokfilter (103) støttet af substratet (104); hvor downconverteren (102) er termokromatisk og er klemt inde mellem det første båndblokfilter (101) og det andet båndblokfilter (103), og emissionsbølgelængden er variabel afhængigt af en temperatur af downconverteren (102) således at efterhånden som temperaturen af filteret (100) varierer, bevæges en emissionstop af downconverteren (102) tilbage og frem, falder inden for et reflektionsbånd af det første båndblokfilter (101) når temperaturen af det termisk omskiftede optiske filter er i et første område, og inden for et reflektionsbånd af det andet båndblokfilter (103) når temperaturen af det termisk omskiftede optiske filter er i et andet område; og hvor det første båndblokfilter (101) blokerer det udsendte lys når temperaturen af det termisk omskiftede optiske filter er i det første område og passerer det udsendte lys når temperaturen af det termisk omskiftede optiske filter er i det andet område; og det andet båndblokfilter (103) passerer det udsendte lys når temperaturen af det termisk omskiftede optiske filter er i det første område og blokerer det udsendte lys når temperaturen af det termisk omskiftede optiske filter er i det andet område.
2. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) ifølge krav 1, hvor: substratet (104) er transparent.
3. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) ifølge krav 1 konfigureret som en spandril.
4. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) ifølge krav 1 konfigureret som et vindue.

Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) ifølge krav 1, 2, 3, eller 4, hvor emissionsbølgelængden af downconverteren (102) sker i det synlige spektrum; eller emissionsbølgelængden af downconverteren (102) sker i det infrarøde spektrum; eller emissionsbølgelængden af downconverteren (102) er valgt til optimal katalyse af en kemisk reaktion eller en særlig optisk virkning.
10. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) ifølge krav 1 eller 2 yderligere omfattende en dæmper (106) der blokerer en procentandel af det indfaldende lys over den brede båndbredde.
11. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) ifølge krav 10, hvor dæmperen (106) omfatter én eller flere af følgende: en termokromatisk flydende krystalindretning; en termotropisk flydende krystal ind retning; et termokromatisk, optisk reflektivt materiale; eller et termokromatisk, infrarødt reflektivt materiale.
12. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter (100) ifølge krav 10 yderligere omfattende et styresystem (117); en energiforsyning (115) forbundet med styresystemet (117) og dæmperen (106); og én eller flere sensorer (116) forbundet med styresystemet; hvor dæmperen (106) yderligere omfatter et elektrokromatisk materiale der aktiveres af styresystemet (117) baseret på feedback fra sensorerne (116) til at passere eller blokere det indfaldende lys i at nå downconverteren (102); eller downconverteren (102) omfatter yderligere et elektrokromatisk materiale der aktiveres af styresystemet (117) baseret på feedback fra sensorerne (116) til at ændre emissionsbølgelængden af det udsendte lys.
13. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter ifølge krav 1 eller 2 yderligere omfattende et energilagermateriale støttet af substratet.
14. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter ifølge krav 3 eller 13, hvor energilagermaterialet (118) omfatter et faseændringsmateriale.
15. Fremgangsmåde til regulering afstrømningen af lys og strålevarme ved anvendelse af et termisk omskiftet filter ifølge krav 1.
16. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 15, hvor det termisk omskiftede filter yderligere omfatter en termokromatisk dæmper (106) hvilken fremgangsmåde yderligere omfatter passivt og selektivt at passere og blokere det indfaldende lys med den termokromatiske dæmper (106) baseret på omgivelsestemperaturen.
17. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter ifølge krav 1, hvor downconverteren er et fluorescerende, phosphorescerende, eller fotoluminescerende materiale.
18. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter ifølge krav 1, hvor downconverteren omfatter en flerhed af kvantebegrænsningsindretninger indlejret i et transparent materiale.
19. Termisk omskiftet optisk filter ifølge krav 1, hvor downconverteren definerer åbninger gennem hvilke det indfaldende lys passerer uden absorption.
