Claims (10)
1. Biologisk ren kultur af Lactobacillus reuteri-stammen ATCC PTA-6127.
2. Biologisk ren kultur af Lactobacillus reuteri-stammen ATCC PTA-6127 til anvendelse ved forbedring af pels- og klokvaliteten hos kæledyr.
3. Produkt, som omfatter: a) en biologisk ren kultur af Lactobacillus reuteri-stammen ATCC PTA-6127; og b) en foderblanding, hvor foderblandingen er overtrukket med et overtrækssubstrat og derpå med en tørspray af den biologisk rene kultur af den valgte stamme, til anvendelse ved forbedring af pels- og klokvaliteten hos kæledyr.
4. Produkt ifølge krav 3, hvor foderblandingen er pelleteret.
5. Produkt ifølge krav 3, hvor foderblandingen omfatter majs, majsgluten, kyllinge- og fiskemel, salte, vitaminer og mineraler.
6. Produkt ifølge krav 3, hvor overtrækssubstratet omfatter talgfedt.
7. Produkt ifølge krav 6, hvor den biologisk rene kultur påføres ved tørsprøjtning i et niveau på 107 CFU/g produkt, inden talget stivner, for således at binde sig til eller trænge delvist ind i fedtlaget.
8. Produkt ifølge krav 3, hvor produktet foreligger i en form valgt fra gruppen bestående af foder, tabletter og kapsler.
9. Fremgangsmåde til identificering af en Lactobacilllus reuteri-stamme til anvendelse ved forbedring af pels- og klokvaliteten hos kæledyr, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter at undersøge en Lactobacillus reuteri-stammes evne til at stimulere lysinoptagelse i dyreceller, idet der derved identificeres en Lactobacillus reuteri-stamme, som er egnet til forbedring af pels- og klokvaliteten hos kæledyr.
10. Produkt, som omfatter en Lactobacillus reuteri-stamme, der er opnåelig ved fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 9, til anvendelse ved forbedring af pels- og klokvaliteten hos kæledyr.
