Claims (7)

1. Fremgangsmåde til anvendelse af en måler til bestemmelse af en analytkoncentration, hvilken måler (10) er forsynet med et display (12) , der er indrettet til at vise information for en bruger, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter bestemmelse, ved hjælp af måleren, af analytkoncentrationsvisninger fra væskeprøver, lagring af analytkoncentrationsvisningerne i en hukommelse (17) på måleren; og samtidig visning på måleren af en første værdi (18), en anden værdi (20) og en tredje værdi (22), hvor den første værdi repræsenterer antallet af analytkoncentrationsvisninger, der er større end et første på forhånd fastlagt analytkoncentrationsniveau, hvor den anden værdi repræsenterer antallet af analytkoncentrationsvisninger, der er mindre end et yderligere på forhånd fastlagt analytkoncentrationsniveau, og hvor den tredje værdi repræsenterer det totale antal af analytkoncentrationsvisninger set over et på forhånd fastlagt tidsinterval, idet det første og den yderligere på forhånd fastlagte analytkoncentrationsniveau er forskellige.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at displayet til en samtidig visning af den første værdi, den anden værdi og den tredje værdi indbefatter et LCD-display, et grafisk display, et plasmadisplay, et display med baggrundsbelysning eller en kombination af segmenteret/grafisk display.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at analytkoncentrationsvisningen er en glukosekoncentrationsvisning.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at fremgangsmåden desuden omfatter evaluering af den først værdi, den anden værdi og den tredje værdi for at bestemme, om der er opnået en tæt glykæmisk kontrol.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at brugeren har ret til at indlæse i det mindste ét ud af det på forhånd fastlagte tidsinterval, det første på forhånd fastlagte analytkoncentrationsniveau og det yderligere på forhånd fastlagte analytkoncentrationsniveau via en brugerindlæsningsmekanisme (15).
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at brugeren har mulighed for at vælge det på forhånd fastlagte tidsinterval ud fra en flerhed af forprogrammerede tidsintervaller.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at brugeren har mulighed for at vælge i det mindste ét ud af det første på forhånd fastlagte analytkoncentrationsniveau og det yderligere på forhånd fastlagte analytkoncentrationsniveau ud fra en flerhed af forprogrammerede analytkoncentrationsniveauer.
