Claims (19)
1. Fremgangsmåde til at fremstille calciumkarbonat-indeholdende kompositpartikler omfattende de følgende trin: a) at tilvejebringe mindst et calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver, b) at fremstille mindst en opløsning eller emulsion eller dispersion af mindst et bindemiddel, hvor det mindst ene bindemiddel tilvejebragt er valgt fra et polymerbindemiddel valgt fra gruppen af copolymerer af acrylonitril, butadien, akrylat, butylakrylat, styren, styren-butadien, og akrylester, og blandinger deraf, og hvor mængden af det mindst ene bindemiddel er mindre end 10 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af det calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver, c) at bringe det mindst ene calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver af trin a) i kontakt med den mindst ene opløsning eller emulsion eller dispersion af bindemidlet af trin b) i en mængde til at danne faststof calciumkarbonat-indeholdende kompositpartikler, hvor de calciumkarbonat-indeholdende kompositpartikler opnået i trin c) når tørret til et samlet overfladefugtindhold på mindre end 0,5 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af kompositpartiklerne, har øget bulkdensitet ved tilsvarende eller forbedret flydeevne sammenlignet med det calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver tilvejebragt i trin a) når tørret til et samlet overfladefugtindhold på mindre end 0,5 vægtprocent baseret på den samlede vægt af det calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor bulkdensiteten af de tørrede calciumkarbonat-indeholdende partikler med et samlet overfladefugtindhold af mindre end 0,5 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af kompositpartiklerne, øges med 5 til 80%, fortrinsvis med 8 til 60%, og mere fortrinsvis med 10 til 50%, sammenlignet med det calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver tilvejebragt i trin a).
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor det mindst ene calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver tilvejebragt i trin a) er valgt fra gruppen bestående af GCC og PCC, og blandinger deraf.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor pulverpartiklerne af det mindst ene calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver tilvejebragt i trin a) har en dso værdi fra 0,1 til 100 pm, fra 0,3 til 50 pm, eller fra 0,4 til 10 pm, fortrinsvis fra 0,5 til 5,0 pm.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor det mindst ene calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver tilvejebragt i trin a) har et samlet overfladefugtindhold af mindre end 10 vægtprocent, mindre end 5 vægtprocent, mindre end 2 vægtprocent, mindre end 1 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis mindre end 0,5 vægtprocent, mere fortrinsvis mindre end 0,2 vægtprocent, og mest fortrinsvis mindre end 0,1 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af mineralpulveret.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor det mindst ene bindemiddel tilvejebragt i trin b) er valgt fra et polymerbindemiddel valgt fra gruppen omfattende styren-akrylat-copolymer og styren-butadien-copolymer, og blandinger deraf.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor mængden af det mindst ene bindemiddel tilvejebragt i trin b) er mindre end 7 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis mindre end 5 vægtprocent, og mest fortrinsvis mellem 0,1 og 4 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af det calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor det mindst ene calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver tilvejebragt i trin a) bringes i kontakt før, under eller efter trin c) med mindst en opløsning eller emulsion eller dispersion af mindst en kationisk polymer.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8, hvor den mindst ene kationiske polymer er valgt fra lineær polyethylenimin, eller polyaminamidepichlorohydrin, eller blandinger deraf.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8 eller 9, hvor mængden af den mindst ene kationiske polymer er mindre end 1,0 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis mindre end 0,8 vægtprocent, mere fortrinsvis mindre end 0,5 vægtprocent, og mest fortrinsvis mindre end 0,2 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af det calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor fremgangsmåden trin c) udføres ved en temperatur fra 5°C til 140°C, fortrinsvis fra 10 til 110°C, og mest fortrinsvis fra 20°C til 105°C, eller fra 40 til 105°C.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter et yderligere trin d), hvor de calciumkarbonat-indeholdende kompositpartikler opnået i trin c) tørres, fortrinsvis til et samlet overfladefugtindhold på mindre end 1 vægtprocent, mindre end 0,8 vægtprocent, mindre end 0,5 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis mindre end 0,2 vægtprocent, og mest fortrinsvis mindre end 0,1 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af kompositpartiklerne.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 12, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter et yderligere trin e), hvor de tørrede calciumkarbonat-indeholdende kompositpartikler opnået i trin d) screenes og/eller luftklassificeres til at eliminere uønskede større partikler, fortrinsvis til at eliminere partikler som er større end 100 pm, fortrinsvis større end 50 pm, og mere fortrinsvis større end 20 pm.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor en opslæmning fremstilles fra de calciumkarbonat-indeholdende kompositpartikler opnået i trin c) ved tilsætning af vand og, eventuelt, et dispergeringsmiddel.
15. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 14, hvor dispergeringsmidlet er natriumpolyakrylat som har en vægtgennemsnitlig molekylvægt Mw fra 2000 til 15000 g/mol, fortrinsvis fra 3000 til 7000 g/mol, og mest fortrinsvis fra 3500 til 6000 g/mol.
16. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 14 eller 15, hvor opslæmningen har et faststofindhold fra 10 til 82 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis fra 50 til 81 vægtprocent, og mere fortrinsvis fra 60 til 70 vægtprocent eller fra 70 til 78 vægtprocent, baseret på den samlede vægt af opslæmningen.
17. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor fremgangsmåden trin c) udføres i en mølleindretning, fortrinsvis i en kuglemølle, fortrinsvis i kombination med en cyklonindretning som recirkulerer agglomerater og/eller aggregater dannet under fremgangsmådetrin c) tilbage til indløbet af mølleindretningen.
18. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor de calciumkarbonat-indeholdende kompositpartikler dannet under fremgangsmådetrin c) deles til mindre partikler.
19. Anvendelse af et bindemiddel til at øge bulkdensiteten af et calciumkarbonat-indeholdende mineralpulver med tilsvarende eller forbedret flydeevne, hvor bindemidlet er valgt fra et polymerbindemiddel valgt fra gruppen af copolymerer af acrylonitril, butadien, akrylat, butylakrylat, styren, styren-butadien, og akrylester, og blandinger deraf.
