Claims (14)
1. Isoleret RTEF-1-polypeptid-variant, som reducerer VEGF-promotoraktivitet, omfattende en aminosyresekvens, der er mindst 80% identisk med de sammenhængende aminosyrer 1) aminosyrerne 24 til 47 i SEQ ID NO: 15 og 2) hver af SEQ ID NOs: 16 og 17, men ikke omfatter de sammenhængende aminosyrer i SEQ ID NOs: 8, 9, 11 og 12, idet polypeptidet endvidere ikke indeholder en aminosyresekvens bestående af aminosyrerne 1-16 i SEQ ID NO: 8.
2. Isoleret RTEF-1-polypeptid-variant ifølge krav 1 omfattende en aminosyresekvens, der er mindst 85%, 90%, 95%, 97% eller 99% identisk med de sammenhængende aminosyrer 1) aminosyrerne 24 til 47 i SEQ ID NO: 15 og 2) hver af SEQ ID NOs: 16 og 17.
3. Isoleret RTEF-1-polypeptid-variant ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvori polypeptidet er mindst 95%, 97% eller 99% identisk med SEQ ID NO: 1 eller omfatter SEQ ID NO: 1, eller hvori polypeptidet er mindst 95%, 97% eller 99% identisk med SEQ ID NO: 2 eller omfatter SEQ ID NO: 2.
4. Isoleret RTEF-1-polypeptid-variant ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, hvori polypeptidet ikke omfatter de sammenhængende aminosyrer i SEQ ID NOs: 8, 9, 11 og 12.
5. Isoleret RTEF-1-polypeptid ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 4, hvori polypeptidet er mindst 95%, 97% eller 100% identisk med SEQ ID NO: 1, eller hvori polypeptidet er mindst 95%, 97% eller 100% identisk med SEQ ID NO: 2.
6. Isoleret RTEF-1-polypeptid ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 5, som endvidere omfatter en celleinternaliseringsenhed eller en kernelokaliseringssekvens, som er et polypeptid, et antistof, en aptamer eller en avimer.
7. Isoleret RTEF-1-polypeptid ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 6, som endvidere omfatter et cellesekretionssignal.
8. Nukleinsyre omfattende et nukleinsyresegment, der koder for en RTEF-1 -polypeptid-variant ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 7.
9. Nukleinsyre ifølge krav 8, hvor nukleinsyren er omfattet af en vektor, fortrinsvis en adenovirusvektor, en adenoassocieret virusvektor, en herpesvirusvektor, en SV-40-virusvektor, en retrovirusvektor eller en vacciniavirusvektor.
10. Farmaceutisk sammensætning omfattende a) én eller flere RTEF-1-polypeptid-varianter som anført i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 7 eller én eller flere nukleinsyrer som anført i et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 9; og b) et farmaceutisk acceptabelt bærestof.
11. Farmaceutisk sammensætning ifølge krav 10 omfattende SEQ ID NO: 1 eller SEQ ID NO: 2 eller en nukleinsyre, der koder for SEQ ID NO: 1 eller SEQ ID NO: 2.
12. Farmaceutisk sammensætning ifølge krav 10 eller 11 til anvendelse ved behandling af et individ med en lidelse, der står i forbindelse med abnorm cellevækst eller abnorm celleproliferation.
13. Farmaceutisk sammensætning ifølge krav 12, hvor den med abnorm cellevækst eller abnorm celleproliferation forbundne lidelse er en angiogen lidelse, som er cancer, okulær neovaskularisering, en arteriel-venøs misdannelse, koronar restenose, restenose i perifere kar, glomerulonephritis eller arthritis rheumatoides.
14. Farmaceutisk sammensætning ifølge krav 13, hvor den angiogene lidelse er cancer eller okulær neovaskularisering.
