Claims (16)

1. Plade af materiale, der omfatter i det mindste ét monolag, hvilket monolag er i form af en strimmel, som er fremstillet af ensrettet oprettede på linje, mekanisk sammensmeltede fibre, hvori det i det mindste ene monolag omfatter en flerhed af trukne, ensrettede polymerfibre, som har en styrke på mere end 1,2 GPa, og hvor det i det mindste ene monolag har en tykkelse på mindre end 100 ym, hvori pladen af materiale omfatter et limende virkemiddel på mindre end 9 % efter vægt i forhold til den totale vægt af pladen af materiale, og at en fiber er et filament i et garn af flere filamenter.
2. Plade af materiale ifølge krav 1, der omfatter i det mindste to monolag, hvori fiberretningen i hosliggende monolag i pladen af materiale er forskellig.
3. Plade af materiale ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvori i det mindste ét monolag har en tykkelse af ikke mere end 2 gange tykkelsen af de trukne, ensrettede polymerfibre.
4. Plade af materiale ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvori det limende virkemiddel yderligere omfatter smeltegenkrystalliserede fibre på et niveau af mindre end 5 % efter vægt i forhold til den totale vægt af polymerfibrene som bestemt med DSC (10 °C/min).
5. Plade af materiale ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvori det limende virkemiddel er til stede som limende strimler eller fibre til at lime fibrene i et monolag, og hvilke limende strimler eller fibre er orienterede i en forskellig retning fra de trukne, ensrettede polymerfibre inden i det i det mindste ene monolag, fortrinsvis i en tværgående retning.
6. Plade af materiale ifølge krav 5, hvori de limende strimler eller fibre ikke dækker mere end 20 % af overfladearealet af monolaget, som de limende strimler eller fibre er limet til.
7. Proces til produktion af en plade af materiale, der omfatter trinnene af: a. at rette en flerhed af trukne polymerfibre, som har en styrke på mere end 1,2 GPa, ensrettet ind på linje, idet der derved dannes et monolag, som har en tykkelse på mindre end 100 ym og et indhold af limende virkemiddel på mindre end 9 % efter vægt i forhold til vægten af pladen af materiale; og b. at sammentrykke pladen af materiale; hvorved monolaget er i form af en strimmel, der er fremstillet af ensrettet oprettede på linje, mekanisk sammensmeltede fibre, og at en fiber er et filament i et garn af flere filamenter.
8. Proces ifølge krav 7, der yderligere omfatter trinnene forud for trin b. af: al. at gentage trin (a) , idet der derved frembringes i det mindste to monolag, og a2. at stable hvert monolag, således at fiberretningen i hosliggende monolag er forskellig.
9. Proces ifølge krav 7 eller 8, hvori de trukne polymerfibre ar rettede ind på linje, sådan at i det mindste en del af fibrene i det mindste inden i ét monolag er i anlægskontakt langs deres væsentlige længde, og pladen af materiale bliver sammentrykket under i det mindste 75 bar tryk, sådan at fibrene i anlæg bliver mekanisk smeltet sammen, idet der derved dannes en sammenhængende plade af materiale.
10. Proces ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 7 til 9, hvorved trykket og temperaturen, som pladen af materiale bliver udsat for, bliver valgt, sådan at mindre end 5 % efter vægt af fibrene inden i pladen af materiale er smeltede under processen som bestemt med DSC (10 °C/min).
11. Plade af materiale, der kan opnås fra processen ifølge krav 7 til 10.
12. Strimmel, der omfatter en flerhed af trukne, ensrettet oprettede på linje, mekanisk sammensmeltede polymerfibre, som har en styrke på mere end 1,2 GPa, og et limende virkemiddel, kendetegnet ved, at strimmelen har en tykkelse på mindre end 100 ym, og ved, at indholdet af limende virkemiddel er mindre end 9 % efter vægt i forhold til den totale vægt af strimmelen, og ved, at en fiber er et filament i et garn af flere filamenter.
13. Strimmel ifølge krav 12, hvori det limende virkemiddel omfatter smeltegenkrystalliserede fibre på et niveau af mindre end 5 % efter vægt i forhold til den totale vægt af polymerfibrene som bestemt med DSC (10 °C/min).
14. Ballistisk modstandsdygtigt emne, der omfatter en plade af materiale ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 6 eller strimmelen ifølge krav 12 eller 13.
15. Vævet ballistisk modstandsdygtigt emne, der omfatter strimmelen ifølge krav 12.
