Claims (18)
- PAT E NT K RAV1. Apparat til afkodning af en transformationskoefficientblok, omfattende: en dekoder (250), som er konfigureret til at ekstrahere et signifikanskort, der angiver positioner for signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationskoefficientblokken, og derefter værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationskoefficient-blokken fra en datastrøm med, ved ekstraktion af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter, sekventielt at ekstrahere værdierne ved kontekst-adaptiv entropiafkodning; og en associator (252), der er konfigureret til sekventielt at associere de sekventielt ekstraherede værdier med positionerne for de signifikante transformationskoefficienter i en forud bestemt koefficientscanningsrækkefølge blandt positionerne for transformationskoefficientblokken, kendetegnet ved, at transformationskoefficientblokken scannes i underblokke (322) af transformationskoefficientblokken (256) ved anvendelse af en underblok-scanningsrækkefølge (320) med supplerende scanning af positionerne for transformationskoefficienterne inden for underblokkene i en positions-underscanningsrækkefølge (324), hvor dekoderen (250) er konfigureret til ved sekventielt kontekst-tilpasset entropiafkodning af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficientværdier at anvende et udvalgt sæt af et antal kontekster fra en flerhed af sæt af et antal kontekster, hvor dekoderen (250) er konfigureret således, at udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt, der udføres for hver underblok, afhænger af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne inden for en underblok af transformationskoefficient-blokken, der allerede er blevet krydset i underblok-scanningsrækkefølgen, eller således at udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt, der udføres for hver underblok, afhænger af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne for en samlokaliseret underblok i en tidligere afkodet transformationskoefficientblok af samme størrelse.

Apparat ifølge krav 1, hvor dekoderen er konfigureret således, at antallet af kontekster fra flerheden af sæt af kontekster er større end én, og er konfigureret til ved sekventielt kontekst-tilpasset entropiafkodning af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficientværdier inden for en underblok ved anvendelse af det udvalgte sæt af antallet af kontekster for den respektive underblok entydigt at tildele konteksterne fra det udvalgte sæt af antallet af kontekster til positioner-ne inden forden respektive underblok.

Apparat ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor associatoren (252) er konfigureret således, at underblok-scanningsrækkefølgen fører zigzagvist fra en underblok, der omfatter en position for en laveste frekvens i en vertikal retning og en horisontal retning til en underblok, der omfatter en position for en højeste frekvens i både den vertikale og horisontale retning, mens positions-underscanningsrækkefølgen i hver underblok fører zigzagvist fra en position inden for den respektive underblok vedrørende en højeste frekvens i en vertikal retning og en horisontal retning til en position for den respektive underblok vedrørende en laveste frekvens i både den vertikale og horisontale retning.

Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, hvor dekoderen er konfigureret til, ved ekstraktion af signifikanskortet fra datastrømmen, sekventielt at ekstrahere syntakselementer af første type fra datastrømmen, hvor syntakselementerne af første type for associerede positioner inden for transfor-mationskoefficientblokken (256) i det mindste angiver, om en signifikant eller ikke-signifikant transformationskoefficient er placeret i den respektive position; associatoren (252) er konfigureret til sekventielt at associere de sekventielt eks-traherede syntakselementer af første type til positionerne for transformations-koefficientblokken i en scanningsrækkefølge blandt positionerne for transforma-tionskoefficientblokken, som afhænger af positionerne for de signifikante trans-formationskoefficienter, der er angivet af tidligere ekstraherede og associerede syntakselementer af første type.

Apparat ifølge krav 4, hvor dekoderen (250) desuden er konfigureret til på grundlag af en information i datastrømmen og uafhængigt af et antal positioner for de ikke-signifikante transformationskoefficienter, der er angivet af de tidligere ekstraherede og associerede syntakselementer af første type, at genkende, om der i en position, hvormed et aktuelt ekstraheret syntakselement af første type er associeret, hvilket angiver, at en signifikant transformationskoefficient er placeret i denne position, er placeret en sidste signifikant transformationskoefficient i transformationskoefficientblokken.

Apparat ifølge krav 4 eller 5, hvor dekoderen (250) desuden er konfigureret til mellem syntakselementer af første type, der angiver, at en signifikant transformationskoefficient er placeret i den respektive associerede position, og umiddelbart etterfølgende syntakselementer af første type at ekstrahere syntakselementer af anden type fra bitstrømmen, der for de associerede positioner, hvor en signifikant transformationskoefficient er placeret, angiver, om den respektive associerede position er den sidste signifikante transformationskoefficient i trans-formationskoefficientblokken.

Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 4 til 6, hvor dekoderen (250) desuden er konfigureret til efter ekstraktion af alle syntakselementer af første type i transformationskoefficientblokken at ekstrahere værdier af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationskoefficientblokken fra datastrømmen ved kontekst-adaptiv entropiafkodning, hvor associatoren (252) er konfigureret til sekventielt at associere de sekventielt ekstraherede værdier med positionerne for de signifikante transformationskoefficienter i en forud bestemt koefficientscanningsrækkefølge blandt de positioner for transformationskoeffici-entblokken, ifølge hvilke transformationskoefficientblokken scannes i underblok-ke (322) af transformationskoefficientblokken (256) ved anvendelse af en under-blok-scanningsrækkefølge (320) med supplerende scanning af positionerne for transformationskoefficienterne inden for underblokkene (322) i en positions-underscanningsrækkefølge (324), hvor dekoderen er konfigureret til ved sekven- tielt kontekst-tiIpasset entropiafkodning af værdierne af de signifikante transfor-mationskoefficientværdier at anvende et udvalgt sæt af et antal kontekster fra en flerhed af sæt af et antal kontekster, hvor udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt udfø-res for hver underblok afhængigt af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne inden for en underblok af transformationskoefficientblokken, der allerede er ble-vet krydset i underblok-scanningsrækkefølgen (320), eller værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne for en samlokaliseret underblok i en tidligere afkodet transformationskoefficientblok af samme størrelse.

Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 4 til 7, hvor associatoren (252) desuden er konfigureret til sekventielt at associere de sekventielt ekstrahe-rede syntakselementer af første type til positionerne for transformationskoeffici-entblokken langs en sekvens af understier, der strækker sig mellem et første par af tilstødende sider af transformationskoefficientblokken, langs hvilke positioner for en laveste frekvens i en horisontal retning hhv. positioner for en højeste frekvens i en vertikal retning er placeret, og et andet par af tilstødende sider af transformationskoefficientblokken, langs hvilke positioner for en laveste frekvens i den vertikale retning hhv. positioner for en højeste frekvens i den horisontale retning er placeret, med de understier, som har en tiltagende afstand fra en position for den laveste frekvens i både den vertikale og horisontale retning, og hvor associatoren (252) er konfigureret til at bestemme en retning (300, 302), langs hvilken de sekventielt ekstraherede syntakselementer af første type associeres med positionerne for transformationskoefficientblokkene på grundlag af positionerne for de signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for de tidligere un-derscanninger.

Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 8, hvor dekoderen (250) er konfigureret til, ved ekstraktion af det signifikanskort, der angiver positioner for signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transforma-tionskoefficientblokken, sekventielt at ekstrahere syntakselementer af første type fra datastrømmen ved kontekst-adaptiv entropiafkodning, hvor syntakselemen- terne af første type for associerede positioner inden for transformationskoeffici-entblokken angiver, om en signifikant eller ikke-signifikant transformationskoeffi-cient er placeret i den respektive position; og associatoren (250) er konfigureret til sekventielt at associere de sekventielt eks-traherede syntakselementer af første type med positionerne for transformations-koefficientblokken i den forud bestemte scanningsrækkefølge blandt positionerne for transformationskoefficientblokken, hvor dekoderen er konfigureret til ved kontekstadaptiv entropiafkoding af syn-takselementerne af første type at anvende kontekster, der udvælges individuelt for hvert af syntakselementerne af første type afhængigt af et antal positioner, hvor der ifølge de tidligere ekstraherede og associerede syntakselementer af første type er placeret signifikante transformationskoefficienter i nærheden af den position, med hvilken et aktuelt syntakselement af første type er associeret.

Apparat ifølge krav 9, hvor dekoderen (250) desuden er konfigureret til at kortlægge antallet af positioner, hvor der ifølge de tidligere ekstraherede og associerede syntakselementer af første type er placeret signifikante transformationskoefficienter, i nærheden af den position, med hvilken det respektive syntakselement af første type er associeret, til et kontekst-indeks for et forud bestemt sæt af mulige kontekst-indekser under vægtning med et antal tilgængelige positioner i nærheden af den position, hvormed det respektive syntakselement af første type er associeret.

Apparat til kodning af en transformationskoefficientblok, der er konfigureret til at kode et signifikanskort, der angiver positioner for signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationskoefficientblokken, og derefter værdi-erne af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationsko-efficientblokken i en datastrøm med, ved ekstraktion af værdierne af de signifi kante transformationskoefficienter, sekventielt at kode værdierne ved kontekst-adaptiv entropikodning, hvor apparatet er konfigureret til at kode værdierne i da-tastrømmen i en forud bestemt koefficientscanningsrækkefølge blandt positio-nerne for transformationskoefficientblokken, kendetegnet ved, at transformati-onskoefficientblokken scannes i underblokke af transformationskoefficientblok-ken ved anvendelse af en underblok-scanningsrækkefølge med supplerende scanning af positionerne for transformationskoefficienterne inden for underblok-kene i en positions-underscanningsrækkefølge, hvor apparatet desuden er konfigureret til ved sekventielt kontekst-tilpasset entropikodning af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficientværdier at anvende et udvalgt sæt af et antal kontekster fra en flerhed af sæt af et antal kontekster, hvor apparatet er konfigureret således, at udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt, der udføres for hver underblok, afhænger af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne inden for en underblok af transformationskoefficientblokken, der allerede er blevet krydset i underblok-scanningsrækkefølgen, eller således at udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt, der udføres for hver underblok, afhænger af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne for en samlokaliseret underblok i en tidligere kodet transformati-onskoefficientblok af samme størrelse.
- 13. Apparat ifølge krav 12, hvor transformationskoefficientblokken relaterer til indholdet af et dybdekort.
- 14. Fremgangsmåde til afkodning af en transformationskoefficientblok, omfattende: ekstraktion af et signifikanskort, der angiver positioner for signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationskoefficientblokken, og derefter værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationskoefficientblokken fra en datastrøm med, ved ekstraktion af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter, sekventielt at ekstrahere værdierne ved kontekst-adaptiv entropiafkodning; og sekventiel associering af de sekventielt ekstraherede værdier med positi-onerne for de signifikante transformationskoefficienter i en forud bestemt koefficientscanningsrækkefølge blandt positionerne for transformations-koefficientblokken, kendetegnet ved, at transformationskoefficientblok-ken scannes i underblokke af transformationskoefficientblokken ved anvendelse af en underblok-scanningsrækkefølge med supplerende scanning af positionerne for transformationskoefficienterne inden for under-blokkene i en positions-underscanningsrækkefølge, hvor der ved sekventielt kontekst-tilpasset entropiafkodning af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficientværdier anvendes et udvalgt sæt af et an-tal kontekster fra en flerhed af sæt af et antal kontekster, hvor udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt, der udføres for hver underblok, afhænger af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne inden for en underblok af transformationskoeffici-entblokken, der allerede er blevet krydset i underblok-scanningsrækkefølgen, eller hvor udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt, der udføres for hver underblok, afhænger af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne for en samlokaliseret underblok i en tidligere afkodet transformationskoefficientblok af samme størrelse.

Fremgangsmåde til kodning af en transformationskoefficientblok, der omfatter kodning af et signifikanskort, der angiver positioner for signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformationskoefficientblokken, og derefter værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter inden for transformati-onskoefficientblokken i en datastrøm med, ved kodning af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficienter, sekventielt at kode værdierne ved kontekst-adaptiv entropikodning, hvor kodningen af værdierne i datastrømmen udføres i en forud bestemt koefficientscanningsrækkefølge blandt positionerne for trans-formationskoefficientblokken, kendetegnet ved, at transformationskoefficient-blokken scannes i underblokke af transformationskoefficientblokken ved anvendelse af en underblok-scanningsrækkefølge med supplerende scanning af positionerne for transformationskoefficienterne inden for underblokkene i en posi- tions-underscanningsrækkefølge, hvor der ved sekventielt kontekst-tilpasset ent-ropikodning af værdierne af de signifikante transformationskoefficientværdier anvendes et udvalgt sæt af et antal kontekster fra en flerhed af sæt af et antal kontekster, hvor udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt udføres for hver underblok af-hængigt af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne inden for en underblok af transformationskoefficientblokken, der allerede er blevet krydset i underblok-scanningsrækkefølgen, eller hvor udvælgelsen af det udvalgte sæt udføres for hver underblok afhængigt af værdierne af transformationskoefficienterne for en samlokaliseret underblok i en tidligere kodet transformationskoefficientblok af samme størrelse.
