Claims (9)

1. Fremgangsmåde til raffinering af en strøm af rå methanol (103), omfattende: - forbehandling af strømmen af rå methanol i et topping-trin (100), til fraseparering af flygtige bestanddele, hvor der opnås en strøm af lette gasser og en opløsning af afgasset rå methanol (105), hvor forbehandlingen udføres ved et defineret topping-tryk (p1); - destillation af methanol fra opløsningen af afgasset rå methanol; - hvor destillationen af methanol omfatter mindst et endeligt trin med destillation af methanol ved et defineret destillationstryk (p4), og hvor: - destillationstrykket (p4) i det endelige trin er større end topping-trykket (p1), og: - en gasholdig strøm af destilleret methanol (440) produceret i det endelige destillationstrin anvendes til at levere i det mindste en del af en varmestrøm til trinnet med forbehandlings-topping; kendetegnet ved, at destillationen af methanol omfatter: - mindst et destillationstrin opstrøms for det endelige destillationstrin, - hvor en delvist destilleret methanolopløsning (207), opnået i det mindst ene destillationstrin, dirigeres mod det endelige destillationstrin, - og hvor trykket (p2) eller trykkene i destillationstrinnet/destillationstrinnene opstrøms for den endelige destillation er større end det endelige tryk (p4).
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor: en opløsning indeholdende methanol (106) tages fra topping-stadiet; hvor opløsningen opvarmes ved hjælp af indirekte varmeveksling med den gasholdige strøm af destilleret methanol (440) opnået i det endelige destillationstrin; den opvarmede opløsning (106') genindføres i topping-trinnet (100), hvorved opvarmningen i nævnte stadium opnås.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, hvor den gasholdige strøm af destilleret methanol (440) kondenserer i det mindste delvist i kraft af virkningen fra varmevekslingen med opløsningen (106).
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2 eller 3, hvor opløsningen indeholdende methanol (106) fordamper det mindste delvist i kraft af virkningen fra varmevekslingen.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3 og 4, hvor varmevekslingen finder sted i en rør- eller pladevarmeveksler (101).
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor topping-trykket i det store og hele er lig med atmosfærisk tryk, fortrinsvis ikke større end 1,5 bar, og det endelige destillationstryk er mindst 2 bar.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, hvor det endelige destillationstryk ligger i området 2-6 bar og fortrinsvis ca. 5 bar.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor hver af det indledende topping-behandlingsstadium og destillationsstadiet udføres i mindst en respektiv destillationssøjle.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor: en strøm af destilleret gasholdig methanol (404) ekstraheres fra toppen af en endelig destillationssøjle (400); en første del (440) af methanolen kondenseres i en konden-sator-reboiler (101), der også fungerer som en bund-reboiler af en toppingsøjle, hvorved der opnås kondenseret methanol (415); en anden del af den gasholdige methanol kondenseres i en topkondensator (402) af den endelige destillationssøjle; en del (410) af den kondenserede methanol genindføres i den endelige destillationssøjle.
