Claims (13)

1. Fremgangsmåde til kodning af videodata, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter at: bestemme (162; 208) en kontekst for entropikodning af en bin af en værdi indikativ for en sidste signifikant koefficientposition af en blok af videodata under anvendelse af en funktion af et indeks af bin'en, og kode (164; 210) bin'en under anvendelse af den bestemte kontekst; kendetegnet ved at: anvende funktionen til at fremstille et kontekst-indeks for konteksten ved højre-skiftning af bin'ens indeks med en værdi k og addere den højreskiftede værdi til en offset-værdi, hvor offset-værdien bestemmes ifølge formlen: offset = 3 *n +((«+l)»2), hvor værdien k bestemmes ifølge formlen: k = (n+3)»2 hvor værdien n bestemmes ifølge formlen: n = (log2(block_size)-2), og hvor værdien block_size omfatter en værdi indikativ for blokstørrelsen af transformationsenheden.
