Claims (15)
1. Lateralflowindretning til påvisning af en analyt i en prøve omfattende: en prøvekompressor; en teststrimmel omfattende en testzone og en omdirigeringszone opstrøms for testzonen, hvor omdirigeringszonen afbryder et lateralt flow på teststrim-len; et konjugat omfattende en første bindingspartner til analytten og en label; og en anden bindingspartner til analytten; og en prøvepåføringszone, hvor en prøve påføres på lateralflowindretningen, hvor prøvepåføringszonen er placeret på et sted udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af: i) på teststrimlen opstrøms for påvisningszonen; ii) på prøvekom-pressoren; og iii) på en prøveopsamler omfattende en prøveopsamlingsdel til opsamling af prøven; hvor en bestanddel udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af konjugatet, den anden bindingspartner og både konjugatet og den anden bindingspartner ikke er placeret på teststrimlen, inden lateralflowindretningen anvendes; og hvor prøvekompressoren danner en bro over omdirigeringszonen for at omdirigere et flow hen mod prøvekompressoren og føre flowet tilbage til teststrimlen for enden af omdirigeringszonen.
2. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor prøveopsamleren, når prøvepåføringszonen er placeret på en prøveopsamler, er placeret mellem prøvekompressoren og teststrimlen i en vertikal stak.
3. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor omdirigeringszonen omfatter: (A) en fysisk barriere, som stopper eller forsinker et flow i en lateral retning på teststrimlen, (B) en kemisk barriere, som stopper eller forsinker et flow i en lateral retning på teststrimlen, eller (C) en spalte, som stopper et flow i en lateral retning på teststrimlen.
4. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor omdirigeringszonen omfatter en fysisk barriere, som stopper eller forsinker et flow i en lateral retning på teststrimlen, og hvor den fysiske barriere omfatter indkapslede komponenter, og den fysiske barriere opløser sig, når et elueringsmiddel er påført.
5. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor prøvekompressoren omfatter et underlag, og hvor konjugatet eller den anden bindingspartner er placeret på underlaget, inden lateralflowindretningen anvendes.
6. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor prøvekompressoren omfatter et underlag omfattende en første kontrolbindingspartner placeret på underlaget, og en anden bindingspartner er immobiliseret i en kontrolzone af teststrimlen, hvor den første kontrolbindingspartner er en bindingspartner for den anden kontrolbindingspartner.
7. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor lateralflowindretningen er udformet således, at et positivt resultat kun opnås, når analytten er indfanget i testzo-nen ved dannelse af et kompleks mellem analytten, den første bindingspartner og den anden bindingspartner.
8. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor testzonen ikke omfatter noget mo-lekyle, som specifikt binder analytten.
9. Lateralflowindretning ifølge krav 1, hvor den anden bindingspartner omfatter et mærke, og testzonen omfatter en immobiliseret bindingspartner af mærket.
10. Fremgangsmåde til at køre et assay på en prøve på en lateralflowindretning omfattende en teststrimmel og en prøvekompressor, hvor fremgangs-måden omfatter de følgende trin: a) at placere en prøve på lateralflowindretningen; b) at afbryde et lateralt flow på teststrimlen ved at inddrage en omdirigerings-zone på teststrimlen; c) at omdirigere det afbrudte flow til prøvekompressoren ved at påføre et tryk på indretningen under anvendelse af prøvekompressoren; og d) at føre flowet tilbage til teststrimlen for enden af omdirigeringszonen.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 10, hvor, prøven i trin a) placeres på en prø-vepåføringszone placeret på et sted udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af: i) på teststrimlen opstrøms for en påvisningszone; ii) på prøvekompressoren; og iii) på en prøveopsamler omfattende en prøveopsamlingsdel til opsamling af prøven.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 11, hvor, når prøven er placeret på en prøveopsamler, prøveopsamleren er placeret mellem prøvekompressoren og teststrimlen i en vertikal stak; og eventuelt hvor trin a) yderligere omfatter at placere et underlag med en bin-dingspartner til en analyt på den vertikale stak, og hvor i trin d) mindst en del af bindingspartneren overføres til teststrimlen.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 10, hvor omdirigeringszonen omfatter en fysisk barriere, som stopper eller forsinker et flow i en lateral retning på teststrimlen; og eventuelt hvor den fysiske barriere omfatter mindst en indkapslet komponent, yderligere omfattede trinnet med, at den fysiske barriere opløser sig for at frigive den indkapslede komponent.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 10, hvor omdirigeringszonen omfatter en spalte, som stopper et flow i en lateral retning på teststrimlen.
15. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 10, hvor prøvekompressoren omfatter en komponent udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af af en første bindingspartner, en anden bindingspartner og både den første bindingspartner og den anden bindingspartner.
