Claims (10)
1. Apparat til at fange lyd til senere redigering og at kommunikere den indfangede lyd til en server (20) af et fordelt musikkollaborationssystem, hvor nævnte apparat omfatter en sporfanger (90) konfigureret til at tilvejebringe nævnte server af nævnte fordelte musikkollaborationssystem med en sessionsvektor omfattende sessionsspor associeret med en session, hvor hvert af nævnte sessionsspor er associeret med en individuel musikkilde og indeholder data, som repræsenterer hvad en musiker spillede i løbet af nævnte session, hvor nævnte sporfanger inkluderer et flersporinputinterface (92) med en variation af inputmodtager til samtidigt at modtage nævnte input fra musikere (12) kendetegnet ved, at en lydomformer (94) med adgang til en programhukommelse (96), som inkluderer software til at konvertere analog lyd af nævnte sessionsspor til en af en flerhed af digitale lydformater valgt af en bruger, for derved at generere separat konverterede sessionsspor, et lagringsmedium (98) til at lagre nævnte konverterede sessionsspor, en sessionsspor-vektoriseringsenhed (100) til at pakke nævnte konverterede sessionsspor i en sessionsvektor til transmission til nævnte server af nævnte fordelte musikkollaborationssystem, og en sessionsvektor-overførselsenhed (102) til at udføre overførsel af nævnte sessionsvektor til nævnte server af nævnte fordelte musikkollaborationssystem, hvor nævnte sessionsvektor indeholder data, som repræsenterer hvad en eller flere musikere spillede.
2. Apparatet ifølge krav 1, hvor nævnte sessionsvektor-overførselsenhed (102) er konfigureret til at modulere en elektromagnetisk bølge til at bære information, som repræsenterer nævnte sessionsvektor.
3. Apparatet ifølge krav 2, hvor nævnte sessionsvektor-overførselsenhed (102) omfatter et transmissionsledningsinterface, hvor nævnte sessionsvektor-overførselsenhed er yderligere konfigureret til at igangsætte nævnte modulerede elektromagnetiske bølge på nævnte transmissionsledning for transmission til nævnte fordelte musikkollaborationssystem.
4. Apparatet ifølge krav 2, hvor nævnte sessionsvektor-overførselsenhed (102) omfatter et elektrisk frirum-interface, hvor nævnte sessionsvektor-overførselsenhed er yderligere konfigureret til at generere strøm på nævnte elektriske frirum-interface for at igangsætte nævnte modulerede elektromagnetiske bølge til transmission til nævnte fordelte musikkollaborationssystem.
5. Apparatet ifølge krav 1, hvor nævnte flersporinputinterface (92) er konfigureret til at forbinde til et sessionsknudepunkt for at modtage data fra musikkilder (12), og for at hente sessionsspor fra nævnte sessionsknudepunkt.
6. Apparatet ifølge krav 1, hvor nævnte flersporinputinterface (92) omfatter en flerhed af jacks, hver af hvilke modtager et sessionsspor fra en musikkilde.
7. Apparatet ifølge krav 1, yderligere omfatter en inputniveauindikator til at indikere hvorvidt lydinput er inden for et optimalt dynamisk område.
8. Apparatet ifølge krav 1, yderligere omfatter en statusindikator til at indikere tilstedeværelse eller fravær af en forbindelse til nævnte fordelte musikkollaborationssystem.
9. Apparatet ifølge krav 1, hvor nævnte konverterede sessionsspor er lagret i lagringsmediet (98) som separate konverterede sessionsspor.
10. Apparatet ifølge krav 9, hvor pakning omfatter at hente nævnte separate konverterede sessionsspor fra nævnte lagringsmedium (98) og kombinere nævnte separate konverterede sessionsspor i nævnte sessionsvektor.
