Claims (15)
1. Biokompatibelt implantat omfattende et eller flere metaller, metallegeringer, metaloxider eller en kombination deraf, hvor en antioxidantforbindelse valgt fra gruppen af flavonoider, methoxytryptopholer, en ester deraf, et farmaceutisk acceptabelt salt deraf, og en kombination deraf, er coatet til mindst en del af en metal-, metallegerings- eller metaloxidoverflade af nævnte biokompatible implantat, hvor antioxidanten er kovalent bundet til metal-, metallegerings- eller metaloxidoverfladen.
2. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge krav 1, hvor flavonoid-forbindelsen omfatter mindst én carbonylgruppe, og, hvor flavonoidet er valgt fra quercitrin, taxifolin, galangin, diosmetin, chrysin eller derivater deraf.
3. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge krav 1, hvor methoxytryptophol-forbindelsen er valgt fra 5-methoxytryptophol eller 6-methoxytryptophol.
4. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor en linker er bundet til nævnte metal-, metallegering- eller metaloxidoverflade og til nævnte antioxidant, ester af sådan forbindelse, et farmaceutisk acceptabelt salt deraf eller en kombination deraf.
5. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge krav 4, hvor nævnte linker er valgt fra gruppen bestående af anhydrider, alkoholer, syrer, aminer, epoxier, isocyanater, silaner, thiol, alkyl, aryl, halogenerede grupper, og polymeriserbare grupper.
6. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge det foregående krav, hvor silanen er valgt fra 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilan eller triethoxysilanpropylsuccinsyre.
7. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge krav 5, hvor linkeren er en polyether.
8. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor nævnte metal(ler), metallegering(er) eller metaloxid(er) er valgt fra gruppen bestående aftitanium, en legering elleret oxid deraf, zirkonium, en legering eller et oxid deraf, tantalum, en legering eller et oxid deraf, hafnium, en legering eller et oxid deraf, niobium, eller en legering eller et oxid deraf, chrom-vanadium legering og rustfrit stål.
9. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge krav 8, hvor nævnte metal, metallegering eller metaloxid er titanium.
10. Det biokompatible implantat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor andre biomolekyler er til stede på en metal-, metallegering- eller metaloxidoverflade af implantatet, hvor nævnte biomolekyler er valgt fra gruppen bestående af naturlige biomolekyler, syntetiske biomolekyler, og rekombinante biomolekyler, cellefastgøringsfaktorer, biopolymerer, blodproteiner, enzymer, ekstracellulær matrix-proteiner og biomolekyler, vækstfaktorer og hormoner, nukleinsyrer, receptorer, syntetiske biomolekyler, vitaminer, lægemidler, iphosphonater, biologisk aktive ioner, fluorid, og markørbiomolekyler.
11. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et biokompatibelt implantat ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, omfattende at reagere en antioxidantforbindelse som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3 med overfladen af nævnte biokompatible implantat.
12. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 11, omfattende trinnene: a) at kemisk forbehandle overfladen af et implantat, b) et trin at reagere en linker som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 4-7 med nævnte kemisk forbehandlede overflade opnået i trin a), og c) at reagere en antioxidantforbindelse som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3 med nævnte linker; eller alternativt, trinnene; a) at kemisk forbehandle overfladen af et implantat, b) et trin at reagere en linker som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 4-7 med antioxidantforbindelsen som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3; og c) at reagere antioxidant-linker-konjugatet derved opnået med nævnte forbehandlede overflade opnået i trin a).
13. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 12, hvor efter at reagere antioxidantforbindelsen med linkeren, et reduktionstrin udføres.
14. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 12-13, hvor forbehandlingstrinnet vælges fra piranha-angreb, passivering, UV-bestråling, syreeller alkali-angreb.
15. Biokompatibelt implantat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-14, til anvendelse i erstatning af knoglevæv og/eller genvinding af en funktion af legemet af et hvirveldyr, hvor erstatningen omfatter at implantere det biokompatible implantat.
