Claims (14)

1. Fremgangsmåde til raffinering af en tilførselsolie, der indeholder kontaminanter, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: i) eksponering af tilførselsolien for reducerende betingelser ved en temperatur på 200 til 600 °C og et tryk på 1 til 50 MPa, især i nærvær af en katalysator til reducering af mindst nogle af kontaminanterne; ii) afgasning af den resulterende olie ved et absolut tryk på under 90 kPa under ikke-oxiderende betingelser; og iii) ekstraktion af den resulterende olie med vand til frembringelse af en raffineret olie.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor tilførselsolien indeholder en halogenorganisk forbindelse og de reducerende betingelser i trin i) omfatter elementært hydrogen og et hydrogenhalidrensemiddel, hvor hydrogenhalidrensemidlet fortrinsvis omfatter ammoniak.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2, der yderligere omfatter trin ia) mellem trin i) og ii), hvor trin ia) separerer gasformigt hydrogen fra den resulterende olie ved opretholdelse af trykket, der er anvendt i trin i).
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, hvor det fraseparerede gasformige hydrogen indeholder carbonhydrider, og trin ia) yderligere omfatter trinene: • eksponering af det gasformige hydrogen og carbonhydrider for vand til reducering af temperaturen af det gasformige hydrogen; og • separering af en væskestrøm fra det gasformige hydrogen, hvilken væskestrøm omfatter vandet og carbonhydriderne; og • fortrinsvis separering af carbonhydriderne fra væskestrømmen og kombinering af carbonhydriderne med olien.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3 eller krav 4, der omfatter trinet recirkulering af det fraseparerede hydrogen til anvendelse i trin i).
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 3 til 5, der yderligere omfatter trin ib) mellem trin ia) og ii) , hvilket trin ib) reducerer trykket i den resulterende olie til omtrent atmosfærisk tryk, hvor trin ib) fortrinsvis yderligere omfatter passage af den resulterende olie gennem en gas-væske-separator ved omgivelsestryk til fjernelse af en opløst gas derfra.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 6, hvor trin ii) udføres ved et absolut tryk på mindre end ca. 10 kPa og/eller fortrinsvis ved en temperatur på mellem 30 og 80 °C.
8. Apparat til raffinering af en tilførselsolie, hvilket apparat omfatter: • en højtryksreaktor med et reaktorindløb og et reaktorudløb; • en afgasningsenhed, der er koblet til reaktorudløbet, til afgasning ved et absolut tryk på mindre end 90 kPa; • en ekstraktionsenhed, der er koblet til afgasningsenheden, til ekstraktion af raffineret olie med vand; og • en højtryks-gas-væske-separator mellem reaktorudløbet og afgasningsenheden, hvor separatoren har et separatorindløb, der er koblet til reaktorudløbet, et olieudløb, der er koblet til afgasningsenheden, og et gasudløb.
9. Apparat ifølge krav 8, der yderligere omfatter et vandindløb, der er disponeret til kombinering af en hydrogenholdig gas, der strømmer ud af gasudløbet, med vand.
10. Apparat ifølge krav 9, der omfatter en hydrogenseparator til separering af en væske fra den hydrogenholdige gas.
11. Apparat ifølge krav 10, hvor hydrogenseparatoren er koblet til reaktorindløbet til muliggørelse af recirkulering af hydrogen i den hydrogenholdige gas til højtryksreaktoren.
12. Apparat ifølge krav 10 eller krav 11, hvor hydrogenseparatoren har et væskeudløb, der er koblet til en væske-væske-separator til separering af en vandig væske fra en ikke-vandig væske, hvilken væske-væske-separator har et vandigt udløb og et ikke-vandigt udløb, hvor det ikke-vandige udløb fortrinsvis er koblet til olieudløbet på højtryks-gas-væske-separatoren til kombinering af den ikke-vandige væske med olie, der strømmer ud af olieudløbet.
13. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 12, hvor olieudløbet på højtryks-gas-væske-separatoren er koblet til en lavtryks-gas-væske-separator, der har et lavtryksseparatorudløb, hvilket lavtryksseparatorudløb er koblet til afgasningsenheden.
14. Apparat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 13, hvor ekstraktionsenheden omfatter et vandindløb, der er disponeret til kombinering af olie, der strømmer ud af afgasningsenheden, med vand, og en vandseparator til separering af vand fra olien, efter at den er blevet kombineret med vand.
