Abstract

The bag dispenser comprises a case 1 in which the bags 6 are arranged and which has a gap 11 in the front through which the bags can be removed from the dispenser, and an advancing mechanism. The advancing mechanism comprises a plane plate 12 which is arranged in the dispenser behind the bags 6 and which presses the bags forwards towards a front plate 3. The plate 12 has the same surface area, width x height, as the bags 6 and is arranged such that the contour of the plate 12 in the start position, when the dispenser is full of bags 6, is flush with the contour of the bags 6 both vertically and horizontally. The plate 12 is further arranged in such a way that as bags 6 are removed from the dispenser, it is either moved at right angles to, and thus level with, or is dropped slightly in relation to the bags, while the whole time lying against the bags 6 over its entire surface. The plate 12 can, for example, be articulated on pivot joints 13 on each side of its swivel arms 14. The swivel arms 14 are articulated on the case 1 at pivot joints 15, and each arm is acted on by an extension spring 16. The bag dispenser is of simple construction and therefore inexpensive to produce. It is also robust and reliable. <IMAGE>
