Claims (11)

1. Antistof, der omfatter en citrullinrest, hvor antistoffet er rettet mod en bestanddel i den ydre celleoverflade af et rødt blodlegeme.
2. Antistof ifølge krav 1, der er reaktivt med glycophorin.
3. Antistof ifølge krav 2, hvor glycophorin er glycophorin A.
4. Fremgangsmåde til påvisning af antistoffer, der er specifikke for rheumatoid arthritis, i en prøve fra et individ, hvor prøven bringes i kontakt med et antistof ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, og hvor det bestemmes, om prøven omfatter antistoffer, der er specifikt reaktive med antistoffet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4, hvor det citrullinerede antistof immobilisers på en fast understøtning.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5, hvor den faste understøtning er en nitrocellulosemembran
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5, hvor den faste understøtning er en polystyren-understøtning, fortrinsvis en ELISA-plade.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4, hvor påvisningen finder sted i et hæmagglutinationsassay.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8, der omfatter trinene: a. tilvejebringelse af et antistof ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, b. tilvejebringelse af en prøve, der omfatter antistoffer fra individet, c. tilvejebringelse af røde blodlegemer, d. etablering af kontakt mellem antistoffet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3 og prøven og de røde blodlegemer, e. påvisning af, om der forekommer agglutination af de røde blodlegemer, hvor agglutination indikerer tilstedeværelse af antistoffer, der er specifikke for rheumatoid arthritis, i prøven.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, hvor antistofferne fra trin b, og de røde blodlegemer fra trin c er indeholdt i den samme prøve.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 10, hvor de røde blodlegemer er fra individet.
