Abstract

The packaging comprises a rigid or semi-rigid box 1 and a flexible plastic bag 20. A flap 12, which in the closed position extends inwards and downwards and which at its free end edge carries a hinged 14 tab 15 extending upwards and outwards, is hinged 11 to the front wall 2 of the box. An area 26 of the front wall 27 of the bag 20 is permanently bonded to the tab 15. Another area 28 of the rear wall 29 of the bag is bonded 19 to the upper half 7a of the box lid 7 by a fold 17 running along the middle of the cover. The fold 17 forms an inwardly directed bead, which when the packaging is closed is located opposite the hinge line 14 of the tab 15. This means that in closing the lid 7 the wall surfaces 27, 29 of the bag are squeezed together to form an essentially tight closure, so that products such as yoghurt, tobacco etc. can remain fresh even after repeated opening, removal portion by portion and reclosing. The packaging is very easy for the disabled to use.
