Abstract

1. Equipment for the preparation of bituminous mixes, having a discharge device for minerals, a mixing device for the addition of thermoplastic binder and a rotary drum which is fired and provided with inserts, characterized in that, for the indirect firing of the rotary drum (1), known per se, a hot-gas generator (8) is provided which is arranged to lead tangentially into the rotary drum (1), and that the inserts (6) in the rotary drum are formed helically in order to guide the hot gases and the mix and are adapted to the tangentiel entry of the hot gases.
