Abstract

Se proporciona un proceso para fabricar un producto de papel celulósico. El proceso comprende formar una suspensión acuosa de fibras para hacer papel. Depositar la suspensión acuosa sobre una tela formadora de hoja para formar un tejido húmedo. Desaguar el tejido húmedo para formar un tejido parcialmente desaguado. Aplicar tópicamente un compuesto de glicol seleccionado del grupo que consite de polietileno glicol, trietilen glicol, glicerol y mezclas de los mimos al tejido parcialmente desaguado. Y secar dicho dicho tejido húmedo. La presente invención también proporciona productos de papel celulósicos que exhiben un mal olor reducido con el humedecimiento.
