Abstract

En este documento se describe un aparato que protege contra el robo de electricidad desde un transformador de distribución que transforma la electricidad de un voltaje de distribución alto a un voltaje secundario menor. El transformador de distribución se aloja en la caja del transformador y tiene terminales secundarias que se extienden desde ahí. El aparato incluye un recinto de protección que se puede fijar de manera rígida a una parte externa de la caja del transformador adyacente a las terminales secundarias. El recinto de protección se configura para contener las terminales secundarias y para albergar múltiples contadores para medir el uso de la electricidad. El recinto de protección también tiene muchas aperturas de líneas de servicio con el tamaño y la forma adecuada para recibir muchos líneas de servicio secundarias a través de él. Cada línea de servicio secundaria se conecta eléctricamente a uno de los contadores de electricidad. El aparato también incluye una línea de distribución secundaria dentro del recinto de protección para conectar eléctricamente las terminales secundarias a los contadores de electricidad.
