Abstract

Se divulga un empaque con una válvula respirable para prolongar la vida verde de productos perecederos. El empaque se compone de un contenedor flexible (1) y un ensamble de válvula respirable (2) que permite controlar la concentración de oxígeno, dióxido de carbono, vapor de agua y etileno en la atmósfera interior, a un valor deseado dependiendo del peso y la velocidad de respiración del producto. El ensamble de 10 válvula respirable (2) comprende un anillo (3) y un tapón respirable (4) que es ensamblado para cerrar el contenedor flexible (1). Comparado con el estado del arte previo, el empaque divulgado presenta la ventaja de poderse ensamblar sin necesidad de una técnica de sellado al calor y de aumentar la vida verde de productos perecederos, tales como vegetales y frutas.
