Abstract

Un dispositivo, para su uso con una mesa de operaciones para soportar la cabeza de un paciente en una posición de olfateo, tiene un conjunto de soporte que incluye una base y un reposacabezas del paciente para su montaje en un extremo de una mesa de operaciones; un gato neumático o mecánico, o un fuelle expandible, que soporta el reposacabezas del paciente para subir o bajar la cabeza del paciente con relación a la base; un eje giratorio que permite la flexión y extensión del cuello; y un conjunto de montaje para montar el conjunto de soporte en el extremo de la mesa de operaciones.( fig. 10)
