Полотенная жатка (100) для установки на приемную камеру молотилки сельскохозяйственного комбайна содержит на переднем крае полотенной жатки (100) удлиненный режущий узел (140) с возвратно-поступательным движением. Левосторонний бесконечный ленточный транспортер (116) расположен за режущим узлом с возвратно-поступательным движением на левой стороне полотенной жатки (100), а правосторонний бесконечный ленточный транспортер (120) расположен за удлиненным режущим узлом (140) с возвратно-поступательным движением на правой стороне полотенной жатки (100). Центральный бесконечный ленточный транспортер (118) перемещает срезанный материал сельскохозяйственной культуры назад к центральному заднему отверстию (138) в раме (101). Транспортировочный барабан (136) установлен над и перед центральным задним отверстием (138). Транспортировочные элементы (150, 152, 164, 165) расположены в переходных областях (154, 156) перемещения сельскохозяйственной культуры между левосторонним бесконечным ленточным транспортером (116) и транспортировочным барабаном (136) и между правосторонним бесконечным ленточным транспортером (120) и транспортировочным барабаном (136).
