Изобретение относится к применению несущего гидроксильные группы сложного полиэфира, получаемого поликонденсацией многоатомного спирта, содержащего две первичных группы ОН и по меньшей мере одну вторичную группу ОН с дикарбоновой кислотой, её ангидридом или её сложным эфиром, содержащими алкильный остаток с 16-400 атомами углерода или алкенильный остаток с 16-400 атомами углерода, в качестве средства против образования отложений при термической обработке жидких углеводородных сред при температуре от 100 до 550°С.
