Abstract

De acuerdo a la invención, se provee de una lámina compuesta mejorada que puede ser utilizada en diferentes etiquetadores que tienen diferentes discos de alimentación con diferentes patrones de dientes de alimentación, sin maltratar la lámina portadora de la lámina compuesta para etiquetado o, de otra forma incrementar su tendencia a romperse. El número de aberturas de alimentación en la lámina portadora puede ser reducido utilizando menos dientes de alimentación en los dos diferentes discos de alimentación. La invención además provee de un método mejorado para utilizar dicha lámina compuesta para etiquetado con cualquiera de la primera y segunda rueda alimentadora.
