Abstract
Acero al carbono de baja aleación para la fabricación de tubos sin costura con mejorada resistencia a la corrosión, particularmente a la "corrosión dulce" en medios ricos en CO2, para ser utilizados en la exploración y producción de petróleo y/o gas natural. El acero contiene 1,5-4,0% en peso de Cr1,5 -4,0% en peso de Cr, 0,06 - 0,10% en peso de C, 0,3 -0,8% en peso de Mn, no mas de Si, 0,25 - 0,35% en peso de Mo, 0,06 - 0,9% en peso de V, aproximadamente 0,22% en peso de Cu, aproximadamente 0,001% en peso de Nb, aproximadamente 0,028% en peso de Ti, no más de 25 ppm de O total y el balance consistiendo en Fe e impurezas inevitables. El procedimiento de fabricación de tubos sin costura comprende las etapas de elaboración del caldo madre, seguido de una etapa de metalurgia secundaria con desulfuración profunda, adición de ferroaleaciones y cromo, seguida de modificación y flotación de inclusiones hasta cumplir con la formulación especificada; colado, laminado continuo, seguido opcionalmente de normalizado, austenizado, templado y revenido.
