Abstract

Un cierre para retorta de fácil apertura del tipo que tiene un extremo de metal y un cierre de membrana sellado por calor en él, donde el extremo de metal tiene un recubrimiento de una composición de sellado por calor que comprende una composición de recubrimiento metálico compatible con el alimento mezclada con polipropileno. El polipropileno se dispersa dentro de la composición de recubrimiento metálico compatible con el alimento durante el curado del recubrimiento del extremo de metal, de manera tal que una superficie exterior del recubrimiento define una multitud de islas separadas y espaciadas de polipropileno dispersas dentro de la composición de recubrimiento metálico compatible con el alimento como para formar los puntos de unión. La superficie inferior del cierre de membrana tiene una capa de sellado por calor de polipropileno para sellarla al recubrimiento del extremo de metal.
