Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo para controlar la composición dentro de un contenedor de transporte/almacenamiento de productos, tales como bananas. Tal control atmosférico es particularmente importante cuando se trata de la maduración del fruto que respira. El dispositivo comprende una cámara circundada por una pared externa, al menos una porción de tal pared elaborada de una membrana selectivamente permeable al gas, la cual está en comunicación con la atmósfera exterior. La cámara también incluye al menos, dos canales los cuales están conectados al contenedor: uno el cual transmite gas de la cámara al contenedor, y uno el cual transmite gas del contenedor a la cámara.
